Will see how I feel when Wiggins leaves tomorrow (eeeek!). There's a Cinnamon Trust very near me which finds 'foster parents' for pets belonging to the elderly/terminally ill. If (if! There's still an 'if') I go, will take DS with me and see how he responds. Very touching seeing him being so affectionate with Wiggins. Off to bed now with my hairy hot water bottle.....😹

Ah. And for the last time.

My girl is not happy because she wants to sit on my lap. But for that to happen she needs the blanket on my lap. However the blanket makes her too hot. This won't do.

Cozie Just had a look at that thread, thank you so much (though feeling a tad emotional...) I can't believe I'm seriously considering it, as I was always a 'dog person' but DS really does enjoy Wiggins' company, and is really frightened by dogs when we're out and about. I've just been watching DS lining up his Little People figures - every time he's done six or so, Wiggins swipes a paw, knocks them over & DS completely cracks up! If I did that, he'd have a full-blown meltdown!

I had one that had a fondness for tops of doors. She'd launch herself off the windowsill, and ride the door, using her own (tiny) body weight as momentum.

Rubbish,thanks. He's still in the kitten stages, and up to all sorts of mischief. He has currently got a cotton bud fetish, and carries them around like dumbells in his mouth,weirdo!

Dame, if the vet has said Puccini isn't a Bengal, have you googled Egyptian Maus? They look very similar to your boy.

Lots of lying on his back dreaming he's Usain Bolt but too hot to actually move.

Mine has moved out. He's made himself two shady nests in the garden, one in the long grass beneath a tree and another beneath the upturned wheelbarrow. He's occasionally coming in for food and water but I've been having to take him supplies out because he's becoming a bit scrawny. He does this every summer. Come winter time he'll become a permanent lap cat, refuse to go out, and he'll fatten up a bit

Rubbish- I've just googled, goodness yes, looks really similar! The vet was a bit hopeless tbh, she said he was a grey tabby and I asked her if she was sure and she said maybe a cross because of his rosettes. He doesn't look like a tabby to me though but I know zilch about cat breeds! I'm not fussed really just interested, especially as he's write so vocal and that fits in with a Bengal.
