Don't. Before having DS, I was all about the canines, but now the idea of picking up their crap/their breath/that wet smell seems very unappealing. Wiggins has been the perfect guest (apart from the stomach sleeping). She's watching me right now, typing about her.... Am I about to become Cat-Lady?!!

It sounds to me as if an older cat would suit you best. Lots of those around needing a warm lap and a good home.

I really don't like it when I a) want to roll over, b) need a wee in the night, c) have to get up in the morning...and try to move in mysterious ways, so I don't disturb the boys, Lorelei (the worst is when Little Monsieur decides it's time for me to wake-up, and walks up and down the entire length of my body.

My main concern is my little boy who has recently been diagnosed with ASD. He's terrified of dogs but has really taken a shine to Wiggins, stroking him, lying next to him etc, which is why I am considering my life-long aversion to felines. I'd be worried about a kitten, as DS can be quite boisterous, but Wiggins is eight, a lazy little sod and DS seems to respond to her really well. You buggers, all of you. I'm actually going to miss her (she's been with us since last Wednesday) 🙁

Poor fluffy babies! Dcat1 was lying half in and half out of window earlier and Dcat2 was lying on the kitchen counter

I should have said that while I may have switched off his electric blanket, Seniorboy is still luxuriating under the duvet. He does like his home comforts though.
