Fuck, my cat is gone and it's all my fault

Girlcat escaped from her carrier outside the vets and was over the nearest fence and gone before I could grab her. It was my fault, I didn't clip it up properly. The vets is 7 miles away. We searched for a couple of hours with no luck. I'm doing some posters and leaflets. I just want her home. She's chipped at least so someone might find her and take her to the vets.

The trap caught a cat last night. Just not ours.

Oh no! Better luck soon, hopefully.

ThistledownAndCobweb · 01/01/2014 17:05

Oh madrat, what a shame. Speaking from experience of cat trapping persistence is the key.
Hopefully she'll be next.

The good news is the cat you trapped last night is very unlikely to trigger the trap again.

Sparklingbrook · 01/01/2014 18:07

But the trap works!

moonbells · 02/01/2014 09:50

Oh bother! Been watching this thread with crossed fingers.

Will get mooncats to cross paws tonight. ;)

Oh excellent result! So pleased you're getting her home.

Sparklingbrook · 10/01/2014 14:18

I remember it well Madratlady, watching the dawn come up from the rocking chair with a baby DS in my arms every morning.

Girlcat can keep you company now. I presume you will need to keep her in for a few weeks if poss?

Fluffycloudland77 · 10/01/2014 14:24

That's fantastic, she will be so pleased to see you

Madratlady · 10/01/2014 14:30

Girlcat is very very happy to be home. Boycat isn't sure what he thinks about the situation.
