Fuck, my cat is gone and it's all my fault

Girlcat escaped from her carrier outside the vets and was over the nearest fence and gone before I could grab her. It was my fault, I didn't clip it up properly. The vets is 7 miles away. We searched for a couple of hours with no luck. I'm doing some posters and leaflets. I just want her home. She's chipped at least so someone might find her and take her to the vets.

The trap caught a cat last night. Just not ours.

Oh madrat, what a shame. Speaking from experience of cat trapping persistence is the key.

The good news is the cat you trapped last night is very unlikely to trigger the trap again.

But the trap works!

DH just got a phonecall from the vets, someone has brought Girlcat in safe and sound. He's going to get her this afternoon .
