Fuck, my cat is gone and it's all my fault

Girlcat escaped from her carrier outside the vets and was over the nearest fence and gone before I could grab her. It was my fault, I didn't clip it up properly. The vets is 7 miles away. We searched for a couple of hours with no luck. I'm doing some posters and leaflets. I just want her home. She's chipped at least so someone might find her and take her to the vets.

Popping back with crossed fingers and toes that it'll be good news for you this weekend, Madrat.

Madratlady · 14/12/2013 14:08

Another sighting today but she ran off again. I think she must be getting braver.

It sounds like it. Can your dh go back to look for her?

Madratlady · 14/12/2013 14:36

He will do, a lot of the posters have blown away so we are renewing them as well.

Good plan.

DidoTheDodo · 14/12/2013 16:16

Sightings are positive. Everything still crossed for her return home. I like the idea of providing food for her somewhere. Especially the dreaded Dreamies!

Purpleknickers · 19/12/2013 23:15

Still thinking of you and your girlcat hoping for positive news soon

Fluffycloudland77 · 20/12/2013 08:09

I think op was due to be induced this week.

Hopefully the cold weather will make the cat seek out humans and get rescued.

TheBunsOfPanettone · 20/12/2013 09:07

Hoping very much that's what will happen.

DidoTheDodo · 20/12/2013 09:50

Me too. Good luck with cat and baby.

SDTGisAnEvilWolefGenius · 20/12/2013 11:24

Fingers crossed for two safe arrivals in the OP's family - well, one arrival and one return.

Sparklingbrook · 22/12/2013 16:03

Still thinking of you OP. x

TamzinGrey · 22/12/2013 19:47

I'm still thinking about you too. Please update xx

Sparklingbrook · 23/12/2013 09:36

I have seen Madrat on other threads. Her baby has arrived early, and she is getting to grips with new motherhood.

Congratulations. Hope all is well, and eventually cat will be home too. Flowers

Congrats on the baby OP.

DidoTheDodo · 23/12/2013 13:20

madrat congratulations on your baby. Hope you are both doing well.
and that madcat returns home soon too.

ThistledownAndCobweb · 23/12/2013 14:49

Congratulations madrat, fingers crossed that you have good news about your cat soon.

Madratlady · 27/12/2013 13:35

Well girlcat is being fed by a lovely lady who is trying to help us. She goes every day for food and was seen playing in her garden this morning. Dh is looking into getting a trap for her from since the cpl since she won't let herself be caught.

Madratlady great news. She's ok then. Phew.

Hope you are ok too. x

Madratlady · 27/12/2013 13:45

I was worried about her being out in in the cold and storms storms but she's clearly smart enough to find a warm hiding place.

Oh hurrah What lovely news!

Madratlady · 27/12/2013 13:56

These new baby hormones are ridiculous, I'm sat here crying at the thought of seeing my beautiful kitty again.

I will be so happy for you Madrat. And for your cat. Will she still need to go to the vets. What was she going for originally?

Madratlady · 27/12/2013 14:01

She was a bit wheezy. If she is still wheezing dh can take her. I don't think I'll ever dare use a cat carrier again!
