Seriously, if anyone is considering getting a teenage/rescued/sight-hound/Podenco/all of the above and has NO idea what they're doing, please enjoy the previous instalments from the day we brought him home, to now, six months later. Posts will oscillate wildly from euphoric to mental breakdown and back again.

I’m glad that Pod is on the mend and that you’re getting to sleep again. Is that a toy that he’s wearing as a scarf?

Has Pod reacted to a muzzled dog before? It might be worth seeing if the magical dog trainer could help to desensitise Pod to the appearance of them.

How are your injured body parts @HangingOver ? Are they healing up yet?

Dopey dog is not thrilled with dogs with black faces or dogs with flat faces.
Muzzles are probably similar.

The instincts of animals, eh? Pod had the measure of the bully straight off. I'm glad he and you are ok.

That's Mr. Cow. He comes everywhere with us for when Pod has to shake something.

Buttbone has healed, little finger is getting there, ankle is still blue but feeling better 😁

Hi lads,

It's not good 😔 We had about a week of sleeping all night but he's sick again now. Even with the hypoallergenic food, a month of probiotics, all the medicine, he's pooping water. He went in the house today and he was so upset. Am collecting samples to retest and see if the giardia actually went away. For once I can't think of anything funny to say. I just want my poor boy to get better.

Get this Good Boy better, universe, he's had enough of this crap now 😔

That's a sorry sight, he doesn't deserve to be so ill. Would it be worth putting him on a drip...one of my kids had a few trips to hospital to have a drip when she had a tummy issue.
Feel free to ignore me, obviously.
I hope he picks up soon.
