Seriously, if anyone is considering getting a teenage/rescued/sight-hound/Podenco/all of the above and has NO idea what they're doing, please enjoy the previous instalments from the day we brought him home, to now, six months later. Posts will oscillate wildly from euphoric to mental breakdown and back again.

I have actually been covered in poop three days in a row. Day before yesterday I got gallumped on by pods friends Massive and his claw got the poo bag which went over my dry robe, day after a inadvertently made a fuss of new friend Hippo who had just rolled, and today, the cowpat splatter... Bah! I hate winter!

Yup, definitely sticking with cats.

Happy new year everyone! Especially Top Dog.

Happy new year my wonderful wonder Pod squad. Me and DP are actually on holidays now for the first time in years it's GLORIOUS! Pod is at the kennel where he goes to daycare. They have sent many photos, including one of him with a whole retriever head in his mouth. I miss him ENORMOUSLY though but he'll be back in my arms in just over a week.

Question... I'm not so self obsessed as to assume another thread is automatically in order, but I do enjoy updating you all so much and hearing your thoughts so I think I'll make one and anyone can use the new thread as a good time to jump off if they want, sound good?
