…what breed would you have?

Just that. If you could never have another (insert your dogs breed) again, what breed would you go for instead?

I was talking to a friend about this on our walk - she has a Collie, but if she couldn’t have one then she’d have a Bernese! Just made laugh as it seemed such an odd choice to go from a Collie to a Bernese.

I’ll go first; if I didn’t have Goldies I’d have an Afghan Hound.

If I really wasn't allowed a Jack I think it would be a greyhound or a whippet. I love how gentle they are.

However, I always sleep with my dogs so the smaller the better really. Small scrappy scruffy terriers are my thing.

Is there any other type of cockerpoo? 😁

We've got spaniels and labs. I think I'd have a Jack Russell and possibly a flat coat retriever.

I freely admit to being an idiot and getting sucked into how delicious she looked at the time…she is such a dick though 😂

I am cheating as we have a jack russell x border collie and would choose another jack russell cross. Jugs are so cute - jack russell x pug. Although I don't agree with encouraging the breeding of pugs, so back to the jack russell x border collie. Amazing dogs (on the other hand, he might just be a 57-varieties dog instead!)

We have an English Springer Spaniel. If we couldn't have the same breed again i'd go with a Welsh Springer Spaniel.

We have a retired greyhound and we'll stick with them. However, first up alternative would be some sort of lurcher, which is probably cheating. I've always fancied an Irish Wolfhound, but their health issues are off putting. So it's a Jack Russell.

Well I'd love a frenchie but could I get over the health risks?
I think I'd just go to the pound and get a smallish all sorts, hopefully as little shedding as possible.
