Old dog of mine had a bad reaction to his worming tablet and kept wanting to pace around at night.

So I slept outside with him so he could pace to his hearts content and find somewhere cool to lay.

When it started to rain, I took his doors but slept downstairs again so it wasn’t too hot for him upstairs.

I also used to push him in a dog pushchair as he had something wrong with his paws where the skin would wear away leaving open sores if he walked in concrete too long.

Everyone who comes to our house is required to put their phones on silent as youngest DDog is upset by alert pings. We even had to stop watching a tv show as it featured messages on the screen along with the pings. 😂

But on this thread that makes me a lightweight.

Oh! I do sometimes hand feed oldest DDog raw tripe if he's being picky & Im worried he's not eating enough. That stuff stinks!!!

Same!! My phone is permanently on silent, no idea why as he's deaf as a door post now. Old habits!

My Ddog doesn't like late nights, he will get up about 9pm and stare at me to tell him its our bedtime. He will go to bed without me if I'm watching something but he will come back intermittently and stare at me if he feels I'm up too late

My dogs are always ready for bed around 8pm and spend the evening glaring at me that I've dared to stay up! They literally go mental when I head upstairs, and usually end up tripping me over in the rush to get upstairs before me Hmm then they jump on my bed, spin round 3 times and get comfy so I have to sneak in around them and have my legs hanging over the edge so I don't disturb them. Mad fool that I am...........

Love all of these wee tales! My old boy had a brain tumour and had to have an eye removed when he had the tumour removed. I bought him a pirate eye patch and skull and cross bones accessories to cheer him up…. I loved that dog!
