What dog am I? (Lighthearted)

I have a dog. He has very selective hearing. He can't hear his name being called from one end of the garden but if you drop a crumb on the floor, he comes bounding in!

He is VERY greedy and daft as a brush (though we don't think he's as daft as he makes out to be).

Any guesses? :)

Ok so my Akita's have already been guessed.

My mum has 2 dogs, one is a chihuahua but let's see if anyone can guess the second one.

I rule the roost despite my diminutive size.

I think I'm a guard dog but mum says that's because I resemble a tiny version of one.

I strut around the house checking everyone is doing as they're told.

I'm equal parts elegant and derpy, love anyone and everyone and show this by plonking myself on any visitors knee whether I know them or not.

I can often be found entirely wrapped in a blanket for hours on end.

What breed of dog am I?

Can I tell you my good news?! Our lab (18 months old) has FINALLY been given full roam of downstairs (usually in the kitchen when we're out). He seems to have finally stopped chewing
