Do you know how much the noises you make when you yawn noisily like an old man, do your big, heavy, contented Labrador sighs when you crash down into my lap, or do one of those squeaky farts when your front legs are up on the sofa are the funniest, most heart filling moments of my day?

Why do you take morsels of food and bury them in my sofa, piles of clean laundry and behind the curtains?

And also - could you PLEASE stop being such a dick on the lead? You are so awesome at everything else but this lead thing is giving me grey hairs (7 month old lab so basically just being a dickhead and leaping around like a prancing pony every time another dog passes 🙄)

Oh, God the lead walking. It'll get better. Then worse. Then better. Then a mix of both. Our lab is a year old now and it's pot luck how he'll be on a sniffy pavement walk - I've tried to think about the time of day I take him, whether he's hungry, tired, whatever. Doesn't seem to be any rhyme or reason to whether he's an angel happily trotting along or a stubborn teenager steadfastly refusing to budge. His perfect fit harness was initially a revelation but it's impact has rather worn off.

Still, tomorrow's another day!

GSD by any chance?! They're all secret spies conducting detailed studies of human behaviour before they have enough information with which to take over the world, en masse.

StormyDog as far too many toys and we need to get rid of some. I wish I could ask her which ones she wants to keep and which ones she's never played with or liked
