Why are you so nervous and bolshy towards dogs that look like you, but completely fine with others? Except pugs... yeah they are funny looking but that's not a reason to go nuts every time you see them?!

He's no longer with us but when he was alive, I always wanted to know how he accounted for the comings and goings of visitors. He adored my dad and was happy as Larry when my parents came to stay - how did he rationalise their departure and absence in his little doggy brain?

Are you happy? He is a Romanian rescue and sometimes still looks so scared and worried, even though he spends his life sleeping on our beds and going on lovely walks. I hope he is happy.

She's a rescue and spends 90% of her waking life (which admittedly is low, as a sighthound) whining. Her breed (Saluki) are infamous for it, but it drives me bonkers as there never seems to be a reason for it (she doesn't want food, or fuss, or covers, or a walk. She's not in pain in any way we can tell). She just seems to like making noise.

We lost our beautiful boy September 2020 and we are heartbroken still.

I wish I could ask my little one who passed last year if she knew how much I loved her & if she was happy again after her ill treatment at the hands of other people.

I wish I could ask my current one if he knows how much I love him & also why he has such a weird penchant for flaming hot Doritos.

For the past week, every morning we have found an empty pouch on the kitchen floor. The box of pouches was put well out of his reach after the first find, meaning he must have stockpiled on the first night.

To my gorgeous girl who passed away last year - why didn't you let me know you were feeling ill? I could have got you treatment and you would still be loving life, and I would have been loving your life with you still. I miss you my darling.
