As long as the dog isn’t bringing up blood and is still their happy usual self eating and drinking I wouldn’t worry too much

Little shit has been puking 2-4 times a day, every other day for the last few weeks.

Not sure why, but as she’s her usual normal self and still eating and drinking we aren’t too worried

And congrats Wolfiedog!

Wolfiefan · 17/12/2018 19:46

Bitey I like the drugs. Grin
Thanks Sounriquet.
We sometimes get vomit if madam eats too fast.

Queenofthedrivensnow · 17/12/2018 19:52

@BiteyShark he is still puking what looks like saliva. It's been since about lunch time. He's moping a bit but it's quite alert. No appetite whatsoever

BiteyShark · 17/12/2018 20:00

My dog isn't a vomity dog at all but as others have said dogs can vomit if they have eaten something to upset their stomach, eaten too quickly and some dogs vomit when they haven't eaten for a while.

My dog on the other hand only vomits if he is unwell because he has inflammatory bowel disease. He had also vomited because he got an obstruction as he had eaten a rag Xmas Angry.

Typically I try and offer mine small quantities of his normal food at frequent intervals. Now I have no idea whether that is bad from a vets point of view if them need to examine them but I find that way he either gets better because he can digest tiny amounts and starts to feel better or he gets worse and I know it warrants a vet visit.

Wolfiefan · 17/12/2018 20:02

The saliva vomit can be hunger puke. We would get that sometimes if madam got too hungry overnight. So she now has supper before bed. Blush

Soubriquet · 17/12/2018 20:24

Yeah we get a lot of bile/saliva vomit and it’s usually when little shit is hungry

Chihuahuas can suffer from hypoglycaemia so need to make sure her blood sugars stay up.

This usually means a small breakfast in the morning, some form of treat for lunch and then a nice big dinner

Queenofthedrivensnow · 17/12/2018 20:25

We had a phase of bile puke due to hunger back along. It isn't that I've never seen him off his food it's scaring me!

Wolfiefan · 17/12/2018 20:26

Soubriquet. I’ve been gone a while but I see she’s shifted from madam to little shit. What’s she done now?! Shock

Soubriquet · 17/12/2018 20:32

Oh not madam

Madam is still madam

I’m on about the little white shit we got Grin

She’s 6 months old now and she’s a right rat bag.

She’s recently discovered that she can pull wallpaper off the wall if she’s left alone. Even if we are just in the kitchen cooking Angry

We have to shut her out because she’s so small we end up tripping on her

Squirrel26 · 17/12/2018 20:52

Oh well done Wolfiedog!
SquirrelDog puked the other day because he took too big a mouthful of a T-shirt he’d nicked from the laundry basket and made himself gag. Angry

fleshmarketclose · 17/12/2018 21:12

Feeling a little bit shaken have been followed tonight on Bella's evening walk. I keep to well lit areas but it's still set my nerves jangling. Bloke appeared from nowhere, let him pass but he kept slowing down and checking where I was. crossed road twice and sped up but didn't shake him off until I got to our cul de sac. Hopefully he was just being an idiot and getting his kicks Hmm will walk with exh tomorrow I think.

Wolfiefan · 17/12/2018 21:16

Oh no. That sounds scary flesh.
Soubriquet another? Already? Where’s the fainting emoji when you need one?! Pics?!

BiteyShark · 18/12/2018 05:15

Flesh how scary. I've had a group of men 'commenting' loudly on what I was doing and trying to intimidate me once when I was walking in the dark with BiteyDog using a head torch. There are some arses around that like to get their kicks that way Angry

BiteyShark · 18/12/2018 05:46

Queen how is he doing this morning?

fleshmarketclose · 18/12/2018 06:37

Yes sure it was just someone being an idiot but it's pretty scary at the time. Have arranged to walk with exh for now. Only a few more weeks until it's light evenings again now thankfully.
Hope he's better this morning queen.

BiteyShark · 18/12/2018 07:06

I agree the dark nights and morning are bloody miserable.

BiteyShark · 18/12/2018 07:14

Hmmm the invisible monsters are back. BiteyDog is lying on his bed and occasionally wakes to growl at 'something' and then goes back to sleep.

Wolfiefan · 18/12/2018 08:06

Mine only ever growls in her sleep. Maybe she dreams of the monsters! It’s a scary noise.

Queenofthedrivensnow · 18/12/2018 08:26

Ddog stopped puking at 4am. Drinking water. Off to vets!

Squirrel26 · 18/12/2018 08:28

SquirrelDog was growling in his sleep last night too. Maybe the monsters really are out and about...

How horrible. Walking with someone else for awhile sounds like a good idea.

My mum asked me once if I thought SquirrelDog would protect me if someone attacked me. Um...no. Probably not. But he does give quite violent cuddles. Grin

BiteyShark · 18/12/2018 08:31

Good luck at the vets Queen.

Interestingly I think BiteyDog would be good if a stranger came to the house as he sounds 10x bigger than he is and I once came home really late and didn't put the lights on and he went crazy, growling and barking until he realised it was me. If anyone approached outside though he turns into a mouse Sad

Soubriquet · 18/12/2018 09:13

Good luck at the vets

And Wolfie I’m sure I’ve posted about little shit before but here she is again. We got her in August and she’s 6 months old now

Vet said ddog wasn't too bad just tummy upset. Gave him the anti vomiting jab at 10am. So far not much change. Still no appetite

BiteyShark · 18/12/2018 13:58

Maybe just offer him a small amount of something he normally finds yummy Queen. Hope he starts to feel better soon.

fleshmarketclose · 18/12/2018 15:08

Hope he's feeling better soon Queen
Well never thought I'd find something Bella wouldn't eat but liver cake is not for eating in her eyes instead she places it on the floor and rolls on it. Eric much appreciated Bella's refusal anyway so it wasn't wasted.
