There's a lady at the park with a jack Russell called Arthur named after her late husband. I prefer proper human names, all of ours have had proper names including a middle name!

You bugger......::honest. Old lady when I was a kid, it was a guide dog. Got to the point it only answered to you bugger as that's what she called it. No abuse, she loved he dog. Was an old Scottish lady who used you bugger as a term of endearment. Got to the point she has to say go you bugger so the dog knew it was poop time......

My dogs are Bear (reasonable, she is a beast) and toodleoo. Never promise a 4 year old can have sole naming rights. Lesson learnt. Screeching out toodleoo to get the dog to come back is not a highlight of my day.

I was walking through my local park and heard a young lad shouting ‘Snowcub lemondrop’...
Within moments of him shouting this, a huge white fluffy dog appeared at his side.
I don’t know if it’s the best dog name I’ve ever heard but I gave him 10/10 for originality.

Sophie
Harriet
Henrietta/Hettie
Herbert (all wire haired foxes)
Ted (lab)
Puddles (Jack Russell)
Flock (Swiss Shepherd)
Ringo (greyhound)
Onion and Gravy (sausage dog siblings)

Our dog is called Alice, 6yo DS named her.

I think Crackers would be an excellent name for a dog!
