What a beautiful dog!

Not a stealth boast, honest, but I have a very beautiful dog and people regularly compliment her. I usually say something like 'Aww, thanks', resulting in an awkward silence and a slightly face from them. I mean, I know I didn't make her, I'm just acknowledging the compliment! How do you respond?

Lurchers/whippets/greyhounds always look so beautiful and majestic.

We have a Labrador that pootles around the office at work. I love a lab 😍

My girl 😍 8 mths and she's the most well behaved lab I've ever owned or met. I too get comments from strangers saying how nice she looks and what a nice colour she's got.

We get lots of questions about what breed mix she is and people pointing and cooing at her. However she's terrified of strangers so all the people wanting to pet her are sorely disappointed when she either hides behind my legs or shows them her teeth!

Oh and it really is easy to post a picture! At the bottom of the box you are writing in there are 4 things at the bottom: a smiley face, a capital T, a paper clip and Post! You click on the paper clip symbol and post a pic! Simples and no excuses

This was my beautiful Saffy

I spent the afternoon with a beautiful retriever doodle. He's very poodley looking - tall, slender & elegant like a supermodel. I swear it was like walking round with a movie star. I never noticed so many admiring glances & people commenting. He's a service dog for a child with autism, (little boy wasn't with us at the time) so his working vest seemed to add to his overall glamour! His mum said people have tried similar even when he's attached to 'his' child, often approaching & once even whistling to the dog!! The mind boggles!!

My dog often gets ‘you’re/she’s gorgeous/beautiful/adorable’, I usually say, ‘yes, she knows she is too!’
