Not long now Goood. When we got the all clear my vet warned me he might overdo it with his new found freedom and pull a muscle and he did just that Grin

Sofabitch · 17/01/2018 09:07

Sofa pup is being left for the longest time ever!

My daughter is in hospital and she is usually home all day with him. DH fiishes work at 1pm so should be home by 1.30pm and my mum has said she will pop in for 30 minutrs at some point in the morning. But boy do I feel guilty!!!

He will just sleep...or destroy the lounge.

BiteyShark · 17/01/2018 09:42

Fingers crossed that he just sleeps Sofa. Do you have a camera? I have just watched mine sleep until he got picked up today so we have solved the barking we had a few weeks ago which was him being disturbed by outside noises and reflections in the glass etc.

Hello puppy people. I have just adopted this puppy who the shelter thought was 3 months old. Since looking at her teeth she has most adult ones already, so I think she must be st least 4, if not 5 months. Today she's a chew-monster and the canines are about to break through. Can I ask what age your puppies got their adult canines?! Thanks, and thanks for the thread. I've been enjoying it for a while Smile

BiteyShark · 17/01/2018 10:13

TropicPlunder welcome, my dog is quite old now so I can't remember exactly when he got his new teeth but fairly early and I am sure they were all done by 6 months. The front ones were first then the canines and then the back molars were last.

Soubriquet · 17/01/2018 11:20

My poor girl has started her second season. She's not even a year old yet!

Poor girl is incredibly anxious at the moment. And I know she's going to have a phantom afterwards which means she says gonna be slightly worse. Least I can look into getting her spayed later on this year now.

GooodMythicalMorning · 17/01/2018 13:16

Poor thing Sad

Elfpup was sporting huge adult canines at around 5 months. At 6 months we are pretty much done with the teething I think. He's not frantically chewing everything in sight any more but the power of the adult teeth in comparison to those needle sharp puppy teeth is awesome!

Wolfiefan · 17/01/2018 15:32

Oh Soubriquet poor little one.
Tropic that face is gorgeous.

BiteyShark · 17/01/2018 16:11

Soubriquet Sad

GooodMythicalMorning · 17/01/2018 18:00

First puppy class last night!
Sit and down
We are working on sit, she’s does love a
Smacko crumb

Quite embarrassing really as other people had already taught it. Oops!!!

BiteyShark · 17/01/2018 18:40

QOD don't worry BiteyDog always shows me up in training and we have been doing it for months Grin

KinkyDoritowithsparkleson · 18/01/2018 12:49

Training booked to start at 4 months.

I’ve just spent two hours making my first snuffle mat. The small crazy one is currently napping, then we’ll be having a go. Hoping it is a hit.

kennythekangaroo · 18/01/2018 13:19

I'm busy making a snuffle mat too!

Puppy is now 11 weeks and has taken to biting my slipper boots- not a problem except he does it when I'm wearing them. I'm trying to walk out of the room when he does it and come back when he's calmer but it's irritating .

GooodMythicalMorning · 19/01/2018 09:35

The cone is getting really chewed and disgusting now. Have attempted to clean it so it doesn't look so bad for our appointment at the vets tomorrow but the more I clean it the more he licks it. Wound seems to be healing really well though so thats good.

Soubriquet · 19/01/2018 10:19

I'm bloody knackered. Took madam out for a 90 minute walk today. Is she tired? Is she fuck. Shes currently barking at the window Hmm

It's amazing how much a bitch in season can pee on a walk though.....I'm surprised she isn't dehydrated! She pees more than a pregnant woman

BiteyShark · 19/01/2018 10:22

Soubriquet the more you walk the fitter she and you will get Grin. Hopefully she will crash later to give you a rest.

Goood hopefully you can ditch the cone tomorrow. Fingers crossed.

Sostenueto · 19/01/2018 10:28

I just took Cleo out even though at the no I'm half dead, full of cold and a chest infection! She came home and had mad half hour and refuses to have a nap. I'm so I'll and haven't the energy to play with her. Gave her some chews and am currently lying on bed with her chewing away. Hope chews last a bit longer so I can get a rest!

BiteyShark · 19/01/2018 10:31

Sostenueto hope you feel better soon and hope all the other young pups aren't giving anyone too much hassle Grin

Mine has just cone back from 20 mins of ball play and has dozed off with his face on my laptop making it a bit awkward to work Hmm

Sostenueto · 19/01/2018 12:44

Thanks bitey Flowers

ZivaDiva · 19/01/2018 12:45

I've just taken Zivapup into work for a visit, he had a fantastic time with lots of cuddles and now he's shattered so had his lunch and is flat out in his crate.

Elphame · 19/01/2018 12:48

I really need Elfpup to take a nap but he's still full of go. I have 1001 things to do before we go away and he isn't helping!

GooodMythicalMorning · 19/01/2018 16:02

Is anyone else's dog just really not interested in any toys? Tried loads and he'll look at them for 5 seconds then go looking for something like a shoe or the sofa to chew Hmm tried all different types, hard, soft, noisy but not interested in anything.
