They were living in rank cages outside on concrete floors. The smell was horrid. There was Dad and a Portuguese pointer in a cage, Mum was sooo skinny and looked as if she had been bred and bred. The pups looked healthy enough but the one remaining pup ( so I had no choice in selecting one for us) was shaking and whimpering. He was absolutely beautiful but I didn't take him. I felt awful. The pups were kept in a shed away from the other dogs and Mum. They were clearly not 'indoor' dogs. Very sad and don;t know what I can do.....Sad

So is Midori Top Dog?

ChickensHaveNoLips · 14/03/2012 11:31

Can I be a minion? I'd bloody love to be an Evil Minion

SDTGisAnEvilWolefGenius · 14/03/2012 11:31

All Hail the Evil Midori.

Oh - and please note, I have been an EvilGenius for aaages!

Sounds very swishy and eevil, BeerTricks. Should I tell my chocolate lab that she's a Devil Dog (perhaps she can sleep under the Axis of Evil Bench?) or should I let her carry on being a big, soft, dopey lump?

AnEcumenicalMatter · 14/03/2012 11:32

SDTG, there are rather a lot of us.

I think we need a bigger bench

BitterAndTwistedChoreDodger · 14/03/2012 11:32

My Black Lab is broken :(

He isn't interested in food. Ever Shock

D0oinMeCleanin · 14/03/2012 11:33

Ahem! I own the original Devil Dog so I should be the first minion. If you don't allow this I will send the Devil Dog round to re-model your outdoor toilets and eat your postmen.

Who was it on here that described Labs as 'a life support system for a stomach?' Grin

He likes tennis balls. And people :)

AnEcumenicalMatter · 14/03/2012 11:36

Ah, but your Devil Dog is only little, Dooin. He is therefore the lesser of the evils Grin

Sorry!

MiseryBusiness · 14/03/2012 11:36

Can I be a minion!?

I come quite high on The Scale Of Evil.

swallowedAfly · 14/03/2012 11:38

midori please could you put me down on the waiting list for an actual hound from hell? that's about as designer chic as you can get imo Grin

how is Digby bitter?

ChickensHaveNoLips · 14/03/2012 11:38

Us minion's need our own bench. And my minion dog demands many, many tennis balls. Also crisp packets.

BitterAndTwistedChoreDodger · 14/03/2012 11:38

Dooin has a point, she does have the original Devil Dog.

SDTGisAnEvilWolefGenius · 14/03/2012 11:39

A lab that isn't interested in food??? I am stunned. Speechless (though not typeless, obviously) - he must be unique.

I'll get to work on a bigger Axis of Evil Bench? as soon as I've had a shower and got dressed [lazy mare still in her dressing gown emoticon].

Oh - and the funky ? symbol is done with Alt153 - but you have to use the separate keypad off to the right of your letters keyboard, and you have to have Num Lock on. You can do other symbols too - but I can't remember the number combinations.

BitterAndTwistedChoreDodger · 14/03/2012 11:39

He is massive and still thick as mince Grin

How's Sadie?

And wouldn't a Hell Hound count as a 'designer cross breed?'

SDTGisAnEvilWolefGenius · 14/03/2012 11:40

A hound from hell would have glowing red eyes - that would be tres cool.

swallowedAfly · 14/03/2012 11:40

D0oinMeCleanin · 14/03/2012 11:40

I'll have you know that Devil Dog is currently employed as chief warewolf eater in this house, which makes him very evil, despite his short comings Grin in the size deparment.

Scuttlebutter · 14/03/2012 11:40

I'm one of those who's also been accused further up thread Hmm of being an evil minion (which is quite funny when you think about it) so Midori, if there's room on the bench I'm in, though naturally with a comfy cushion for our greyhounds. Who definitely have satanic bottoms, so they qualify!! Grin

BitterAndTwistedChoreDodger · 14/03/2012 11:42

Wouldn't GreyHounds from Hell demand a mattress, rather than a bench?

AnEcumenicalMatter · 14/03/2012 11:42

I think I need to re-evaluate my crossbreed. Life support for a stomach sums him up perfectly although GE is completely devoid of Lab genes.

You know how you generally gauge a poorly dog by lack of appetite. Even our vet said that it was no indicator in my boy as he has never lost his appetite. Not ever. Vet reckons if he ever goes off his food it'll be too late for veterinary intervention...he'll already have been dead for a fortnight Hmm

swallowedAfly · 14/03/2012 11:42

sadie is fab. the vet said she is small for breed so i bet digby would absolutely dwarf her now. i've recently found out that litter mates are notoriously boistrous and manic and hard to manage around each other if allowed to live together so i'm hoping adding another dog to the house doesn't have to be like having digby and sadie together in one house was like! i wonder if they'd still recognise each other?

D0oinMeCleanin · 14/03/2012 11:43

Ö

Ö

It's not working

MiseryBusiness · 14/03/2012 11:45

D0oing I was just doing exactly that!
