Should I reopen the happy place cafe?

I'm often awake in the night, today was a lie in for me, only properly awake since 4am.

In lockdown I opened, 'the happy place café where I would make virtual breakfasts and people would come to chat.

When it was last opened my French pastry chef Florence had married Fernando the cocktail waiter.

The kitten bees are inside because it is too old but the bumble cats are in the garden as usual.

SO should I reopen or was just something for lockdown?

I think I'll go for porridge this morning, with lots of honey, and a milky tea. Thank you. What I'm really in for is the peace and quiet and the comfy cushions.

I need this café in my life! Continental breakfast is my favourite. I'm awake because I've been sorting out the box of doom under the stairs and I found some stuff in there that made me sad. Can I snuggle up in the corner with my blanket please?

Now I don't usually like continental breakfast but I think I might give it a go this morning! I quite fancy that flat cheese with holes that I remember from my childhood in Holland? No idea what it was! Maybe melted in a croissant! That sounds delightful!

And a cuddle with a cat.

Morning! No unsettled baby just overactive mind dwelling on marriage difficulties. So it's nice to get out of the house ☺️

Yep there is cheese with hoes, soft cheese, hard cheese in real life I often have this for breakfast.

I've been awake -thanks to Ds almost 3, since about one am. He's never slept a night through, preferring to wake every 30min to two hours. I'm so tired.

Am I still allergic to wheat/gluten here or can I merrily pig out on chocolate based pastries? A strong latte would be amazing,if you have a minute please?

Can I also enquire about the bumble kittens and the kitten bees please? Can I have one of each from the next litter please unless you have any ready to go now? Will they get on well with Sam and George my two mogs? They are both very friendly and love cuddles and dreemies.

I'll be curled up in the huge armchair by the fire, blanket on knees, pillows plumped, reading my book - I've tried reading it many times over the last three years. I can't think why I haven't managed it (looks lovingly but grumpily at Ds, plus older sisters)

You might stand a chance with a bumble cat, they are quite feisty but I think an adult cat would hunt a kitten bee and they are really friendly and a bit dumb so they won't fly out of range.

I’ve been awake for hours. Please can I have poached eggs on sourdough toast with smoked salmon , a big cup of steaming coffee with a jug of hot milk and a bowl of really lovely fruit with greek yoghurt and honey sprinkled with nuts? Fresh orange juice with bits too please!

i have just gone 10 rounds in leg fighting with DS2, who wants to sleep in with us and rest his legs on my poor hips.

So I am wide awake now! Yesterday's continental breakfast sounded lovely. Can I go for whatever the special of the day is please and a steaming hot coffee?

This place looks and smells amazing! Thanks for the invitation...I'd like a giant bowl of hot grits with lashings of creamy butter and a Malteasers hot chocolate, please...oh, I might as well have some whipped cream on the hot chocolate, too..yum, can't wait. ( poor Scott and Cassia...having to eat 40 croissants each and drink tubs full of lattes since I took so long to arrive...poor dears!)

Morning all. I need something calming this morning. I had a curry last night ( first time in ages) and its upset my system! Any ideas what I could eat now?

There is a big bowl of scrambled eggs a mountin of hot buttered toast and a pot of coffee and tea over there everyone help yourself.

It was a strange night which involved a police helicopter (just the sound) then I watcher the lost boys and then, well I'm so glad you have made yourselves at home. I'm helping ,yself to eggs and toast.
