Should I reopen the happy place cafe?

I'm often awake in the night, today was a lie in for me, only properly awake since 4am.

In lockdown I opened, 'the happy place café where I would make virtual breakfasts and people would come to chat.

When it was last opened my French pastry chef Florence had married Fernando the cocktail waiter.

The kitten bees are inside because it is too old but the bumble cats are in the garden as usual.

SO should I reopen or was just something for lockdown?

I'm feeling in the mood for chocolate so Fernando is making chocolate cocktails, I'm making hot chocolate and Florence is making pain au chocolate and gateaux.

There will be some savory options of ham and cheese.

Good afternoon all , it's very warm here so I am going to raid the freezer for some ice lolies . . . . Hmm , jubbly, lemonade, fabs, calipo, milk maid, rockets, milk feet , feast ahhh there it is cider lolly Mmmmm

Mmm pain au chocolat and a choccy cocktail sounds good!!
I'll just be in the garden in the comfy chair watching the kitten bees x

@ScottBakula she does fight other females, although hopefully she’s getting too old. I’ll put her in a sunny patch- she won’t move from that.

Feeling a bit better but also had a flooded kitchen (IRL) on Saturday night so I'm still taking it easy.

Florence has been baking overnight so loads of pastries are available. I've taught Fernando some soup recipes so if anyone wants soup there is a a batch of mixed veg and one of peas and ham.

@sashh I hope you managed to dry your kitchen out and there isn't to much damage .

The kitchen is dry, the drain has been unblocked.

Right there is only one thing to do after a flood and that is to cook a full English.

Bacon, sausages, fried bread, beans, tomatoes, black pudding, eggs, hash browns, mushrooms followed by toast and marmalade.

Well there is a local Dog that thinks 1am - 3am is a great time to bark its head off so I'm awake.

I'll get started on cooking. I'm going South Korean here so rice, obviously and a spicy army base soup - a spice stock with ramen and kimchi with the addition of beans, frankfurters, spam and oyster mushrooms.

On the side are spicy cucumbers and black beans.

If you don't fancy soup for breakfast Florence has made croissants and apple cake, Fernando is making fruit teas, try the honey and citrus iced tea.
