Should I reopen the happy place cafe?

I'm often awake in the night, today was a lie in for me, only properly awake since 4am.

In lockdown I opened, 'the happy place café where I would make virtual breakfasts and people would come to chat.

When it was last opened my French pastry chef Florence had married Fernando the cocktail waiter.

The kitten bees are inside because it is too old but the bumble cats are in the garden as usual.

SO should I reopen or was just something for lockdown?

I'll have it with a thick vanilla milkshake with it please. I'll just be snuggled in that cosy corner chair under the blanket

I see the steak went down well so in a departure from breakfast I've put the BB out and will be cooking steak, burgers, sausages, chicken.

Florence has a good selection of pastries if it is too heavy for morning food and Fernando has a selection of beers.

@alienslove Sorry I missed you, no pancakes left but Florence is making a new stack for you.

It looks quiet in here so I'll just stick the coffee on, help yourselves to pastries and I'll cook to order, obviously order drinks from Fernando.

Do you have any cinnamon swirls. Failing that a pecan twist. Thanks. Latte for me please, Fernando, decaf. Of course.

Morning everyone, as people seem to be arriving at odd times I'm going to lay on a buffet, starting with fruit, cheese, bread, various hams a nd then later I'll add more lunch time goodies.

@sashh ..may I stay all day and night.?..those offerings sound delicious... I love a buffet! Especially one that goes on all day.

Stomps in , spooks kitten bees, makes hushing sounds to settle them back down .
Oooh cheeses and ham wonderful. I have a selection of chutney to go with them
And a large jar of spicy home made pickles ( oxo cube for scale reference) help yourself

I slept in this morning, hurrah.

I'll put the coffee on, Florence has made cupcakes, unusual for breakfast but they certainly go well with coffee. Fernando is experimenting with mate cocktails, I'm not sure how that will go.

It seems I am not the only one who likes cake for breakfast, so Florence has made a black forest gateaux.

I'll lay out the ham and cheese, fruit, yoghurt to help yourselves and Fernando has buckx fizz, just because I feel like that today.

Yum. I bet Black Forest gateaux goes really well with coffee.

Oh I saw a new scrambled eggs recipe, you don't mix the eggs in a bowl first, you break the eggs into a frying pan and then you scramble the white of the egg leaving the yolks until the whites have scrambled and then you break the yolks so the warm yolk coats the white.

The bumble cats headbutted me a lot. I can’t work out if they wanted a stroke or were attacking me…

Yeah the bumble cats can be quite thugish, I meant he kittenbees will nibble on food if I have them deliver, the bumble cats will just fly off and stuff their faces.
