Should I reopen the happy place cafe?

I'm often awake in the night, today was a lie in for me, only properly awake since 4am.

In lockdown I opened, 'the happy place café where I would make virtual breakfasts and people would come to chat.

When it was last opened my French pastry chef Florence had married Fernando the cocktail waiter.

The kitten bees are inside because it is too old but the bumble cats are in the garden as usual.

SO should I reopen or was just something for lockdown?

Sorry to disappoint @Sweetpea1532 but I was always the one either stood in a dark corner or propping up the b ar , you wouldn't get me on a dance floor for love or money.

It's just going dark here so I am going to grab a hot water bottle a blanket and a hot chocolate and go outside and watch the sunset .

Well there is now a huge cat tree in the corner for any visiting cats to ignore.

It's cold and wet here so porridge, congee, burgoo and oatmeal all ready to warm you up, Fernando is working on making warming cocktails and Florence is making a selection of pastries.

Ah a bowl of porridge just what I need as I am cold and hungry.
I think I will for go the cocktails for now and have a Turkish coffee and a neat dark rum , Kraken if Fernando has any .

Do you want anything in the porridge? Maple syrup? Fruit?

@sashh that porridge sounds yummy..may I have a bowl with lots of salted butter please. No cocktail for me...but hot chocolate sounds ever so good

Well the clocks have gone forward so does that mean we all slept longer?

I've put some dates out for anyone breaking their fast so I thought we could head to the east of the med for stuffed vine leaves, yoghurt, coffee so strong you can stand a spoon up in it, yoghurt with or without hones, cherry tomatoes, cucumbers, humus and olives.

Staying in the same area for anyone heading into work I've got a spicy lentil soup you can take away in a flask.

The usual warning for the kitten bees, please don't let them get sticky from the honey.

@sashh , I guess we are ahead of ya'll in the time-changing department...we leaped forward here in the US 2 weeks ago...I still haven't gotten over it...may I have some tape like @ScottBakula or toothpicks for my eyelids, please? I want to be able to see all the delicious east of the Med delights you are serving up today...I'd love a plate of olives with yogurt and cucumbers, please. And maybe one of Fernando's extra special cocktails....of course with the paper umbrella. 🥒🫒🍹

@Sweetpea, thank you I do try to vary things but d you know what? I don't think I have ever done north American breakfast so today there will b bacon, waffles, American pancakes, maple syrup, grits and what ever else I can think of.

Obviously there is a huge pot of coffee.

What a magnificent idea! That sounds just like the Waffle House menu...except they do a t-bone steak plus everything you have at the HPC all served to one person! 😵‍💫 I sure am glad I'm eating at yours instead of the WH because I know you and Fernando add lots of TLC to your meals..and it's calorie-free....I imagine there are enough calories in the WH big breakfast to last at least a couple or three days.
And yes please, to a mug of hot coffee with cream.
Have you any mugs with the HPC logo? I'd love to add one to my collection.
