Should I reopen the happy place cafe?

I'm often awake in the night, today was a lie in for me, only properly awake since 4am.

In lockdown I opened, 'the happy place café where I would make virtual breakfasts and people would come to chat.

When it was last opened my French pastry chef Florence had married Fernando the cocktail waiter.

The kitten bees are inside because it is too old but the bumble cats are in the garden as usual.

SO should I reopen or was just something for lockdown?

Well I know what is for breakfast now, I'll start on the coffees.

They hot really well with the hot chocolate cocktails Fernando has made .

Good morning. Can’t sleep due to various worries. I’d love an Americano and a bowl of porridge with lots of fruit and Greek yogurt!

@BeautifulDayintheneighbourhood , Greek yoghurt and fruit is one of my fave breakfast ( snack / supper / dessert)
I liked it with tescos frozen Berry mix until they started putting tasteless mushy strawberries in the mix .

I think I will have toast & marmite with a black coffee this morning tho .

Boiled egg , goat cheese and a plum. Cup of tea.

I wonder what a bolied egg would be like ? Fermented/ preserved? I don't fancy it much 🤢.
I have started buying the blackforest mix instead but it's not as nice 🙄

@RethinkingLife that is so funny but scary, too. Well at least we've outsmarted the A I bots for a little while longer. It'll take it sometime to figure out it has the wrong knob because the programmers must've not heard of the throwing contest.

Yep soup is ready to be taken to work, I have minestrone and a spicy tomato with smoked paprika.

@sashh the spicy tomato soup was just what I needed, it was really nice with them crusty cobs Florence has baked.

I love minestrone.

I am off to bed soon but before I go I am going to drop of two big slow cookers , one has thick veggie minestrone , the other has oxtail with proper ox tails still on the bone ( messy to eat but soooo nice) barley & carrots .
Florence has made a load of small crusty and soft cobs to ho with them.

Now what should we have to drink ?

Can't zZzzzzz so I popped in here to check in on the kittenbees. I wish I could zzzZzzzz. Oh look, some chocolate fondue over there and skittles and vanilla pudding. This place is so mysterious and lovely at night, it's open but at the same time it shouldn't be. It makes me think of the Midnight Library.

Ooo soup. Lovely smell to come in to but a bit early for me.

I'm going to do breakfast tray bakes of sausage, bacon, mushrooms, hash browns and cherry tomatoes with a little balsamic vinegar.

Fernando is making brandy alexanders and Florence is having a rest.
