Should I reopen the happy place cafe?

I'm often awake in the night, today was a lie in for me, only properly awake since 4am.

In lockdown I opened, 'the happy place café where I would make virtual breakfasts and people would come to chat.

When it was last opened my French pastry chef Florence had married Fernando the cocktail waiter.

The kitten bees are inside because it is too old but the bumble cats are in the garden as usual.

SO should I reopen or was just something for lockdown?

I forgot all about Dorset knob throwing contest! @AnneKipankitoo @ScottBakula ...If I remember correctly (rarely) MrsM set me straight about it. They sounded rather tasty.
For some unknown reason, the contest didn't make it as a Dorset attraction on my tea towel

@cassiatwenty , Thank you! I got it in Dorset when I was at the knob throwing contest, of course. (Actually I think I got it at a charity shop, knowing me😀)

This place is so mysterious and cute. I love when you can get cosy, late night, early morning, check out the kittenbees a bit & natter with Francesca and Fernando

What would be a good treat before zzzZzzz's? Something tasty but not too heavy, wondering. I suppose a barell of chocolate fondue will have to do

Can't sleep. A chai tea latte would be very soothing, and maybe a slice of fruit bread toasted with butter...

Yes Florence has overnight created Dorset knobs, something I had never seen or heard about before so I'm going to treat myself to a couple.

I seem to think a sherry would go well with them, I'll let Fernando have a go at mixing something with sherry.

Ooh, a nice sweet sherry would be lovely right now! What a good pairing, @sashh, you really have a talent there.

Well Fernando has come up with a sherry / vodka / espresso mix.

That sounds intriguing. I'm try a cocktail and a Dorset knob please. It is lovely to turn up snd find something new to try while watching the kitten bees bumble around.

I can't currently eat (literally not a thing - back to hospital tomorrow for more investigation). So I'm coming here to virtually eat 'till my heart's content.

Think I'll start with some fresh croissants, salty butter and raspberry jam with a flat white, then on to Eggs Benedict with perfectly cooked eggs with no snotty bits but still a runny yolk and freshly squeezed orange juice.

@sashh I was wondering who @cassiatwenty was referring to when she said ' Francesca '. I thought maybe you had a new baker. @cassiatwenty is so so hungry maybe she thought you needed a new employee to help with the rush. I'm so glad you do a Dorset knob now. I'll have one, please with Fernando's new espresso concoctions out on the patio.

I mean, I'll try a Dorset knob as well - in for a penny.

I found out some sad news...the Dorset knob throwing and Food Fest has been temporarily closed! Maybe @sashh you and The Happy Place can be the new sponsor for the event😀. People will get to sample all of your new offerings whilst getting to throw a knob or 3.

Fernandos new drink has made me sleepy so off to bed with me😴

Yes, @AnneKipankitoo D.knobs are very versatile...you can eat them or use them for a contest or even keep them to depend yourself by throwing them at a perpetrator. Win win win
