Strictly 2022 Sequins at the Ready!

Starting a new thread as can't seem to find one yet, and suddenly feeling very aware that we are likely only days away from line up announcements!

Who do we all think will be on the line up this year? I thought last year was one of the best line ups, a good mix.

Rumours so far include Gino D'Campo, Scarlett Moffat, Steph McGovern, Dawn French..

The first announcements last year were on Wednesday 4th August, so hopefully the same again this year..

I was sure Will Mellor had done it before just for a split second, I used to really fancy him in when he was in Hollyoaks.

He had that blonde skinhead in Hollyoaks IIRC. i loved Two Pints with him, Ralf Little and Sheridan Smith. It was stupid but funny.
Every series of it is on Iplayer.

Yes Ralf left first and then it wasn't the same. It was fun to watch it again. The cast did ok afterwards. Kathryn Drysdale is in Bridgerton. Natalie Casey is the voice of a thousand voiceovers.

The announcements usually prompt me to start Christmas shopping so I better crack on with that!

What I’ve seen of Will Mellor since Hollyoaks makes me think “insufferable egomaniac” so will be interesting to see who he gets as a partner. My bet is Katya.

Quite like Kym Marsh though!

From what I have heard on the podcast he would probably agree with you saying that about him back in the day. But now as a married 46 year old father of two he doesn't seem like that at all, and is always willing to laugh at himself.

That's exactly what I've thought about Ralf Little every time I've heard/seen him interviewed. It's ALL ABOUT HIM. So it's interesting that you have the same impression of his friend.

I don't get that from Ralf Little either. Although they both present a podcast that is all about them sometimes as it would be, they always get great interviews from their guests, and on his IG it's all pictures of rescue dogs and his fiancee.

Im really hoping we don't get Rev Kate (LOOK AT ME!!!!) Botley. I find her insufferable. She's desperate to do it though, so I have a horrible feeling she might be in this year.

I bloody knew it, he's everywhere at the moment so it's not really a surprise. He's so irritating - bet he's paired with Johannes (not because he's irritating just assuming as it says he will be in a same sex couple)
