Strictly 2022 Sequins at the Ready!

Starting a new thread as can't seem to find one yet, and suddenly feeling very aware that we are likely only days away from line up announcements!

Who do we all think will be on the line up this year? I thought last year was one of the best line ups, a good mix.

Rumours so far include Gino D'Campo, Scarlett Moffat, Steph McGovern, Dawn French..

The first announcements last year were on Wednesday 4th August, so hopefully the same again this year..

I read the other day they are filming the intro show first week in September.

You're welcome tia. Sorry for the typo. It should have said you can cancel it anytime. So it cost me I think 45 euros/15 a month during Strictly season, then I'd cancel. Used to watch E4 too. It also lets you record, but be careful with that as if something goes over or lags, it only records the time slot you put in.
Occasionally lags but I found it good enough livestreaming and meant I could watch it all, rather than YouTube highlights.
I would have been happy paying the tv licence but no access from abroad and there wasn't Britbox then. Actually, that's a good point - you may want to see what the Britbox subscription is like as if they are showing Strictly live, may be a better feed.

As I said above, I may be wrong but can't see her doing it unless she is giving up her sports presenting with the RL world cup being in England from October.

Some people have carried on with their day jobs while doing Strictly - Dan Walker did, and a lot of the soap stars (and been exhausted by the end, mind you). I bet Ritchie carries on with the R2 travel.

It seems v female heavy so far? Particularly if you throw Helen Skelton in aswell. Am wondering if she is hoping for an Aleesha Dixon type experience in terms if recovery from a bad break up.

Most matches looking at the schedule are Fri/Sat which she won't be able to do.
