Got there in the end! I think they did a really good job and I loved what they did. I think I'd have bought the third house though.

Pretty sure that garden "room" window isn't to code! I found their decor a bit fussy (the armchair mainly) but generally think they did a good job.

Nah, road noise and rubbish garden compared to their lovely garden.
I also thought no chance of doing the work within the budget and missed the total spend.
Phil does annoy me with his constant under budget offerings, they were not as nice as their current house. If they have £500k to spend they are perfectly right to look at houses on for £525k.
They did a good job and made the right decision IMO. It was a nice show.

That was a strange house … I’m sure there was an industrial estate right behind it. The hedges were obscuring it!

What an upbeat family.
Caradog had bowel cancer and yet he appears to have grabbed life and is so active.
They both seemed lovely.
I thought the second, modern house was nice but impractical with youngish children, having no garden or utility room.
A balcony is lovely provided it faces south or south west.

Omg this house is immaculate like Phil said!

But 2 sets of stairs with living/kitchen & dining on different floors would also drive me mad!

That's the main reason we ruled out town houses when we were looking to move a few years ago.

I bet they end up listing it in favour of a bungalow.

What I don't understand is that Ruth indicated that she didn't want to be overlooked, but the extension they've built has a skylight that you can look straight into from next doors upstairs windows.

That's true. But it would appear the light is more important to them.

The stairs will still be a problem though. Why hasn't Phil shown them a bungalow?

Just watching now so haven't read replies

Layout is working for deaf so Hope they will list it

Can't imagine they can find a way to make space better for deaf

But yes immaculate

Good size bedrooms and en suite

Sure phil will find soemeone

Will be back in 69 or less as ff ads 😂

I thought the first house was lovely too.
Their own house was improved but the formal sitting room was still upstairs.
I loved their artwork.
