I remember these guys - really quirky house. Don't blame them for cashing in and buying in Spain but I wasn't too keen on the location or house they bought but it obviously works for them. Think they also had another property in Scotland? Wonder how they'll manage the stairs in the Benidorm house as they get older.

So did they use the £600k from the sale of their graveyard house to buy 2 properties? One ins Benidorm and another (smaller) one in Scotland? I didn't hear that bit from them tonight!

Yes, I think at the beginning they said they had a holiday home also but I don't think they said where it was.

Yes an additional home in Scotland they had as a holiday home when they had the other Scottish house.

I assume they must have somewhere in the UK because unless they've got EU passports they can't spend more than 90 days in Spain in 180 days?

I didn't realise you could even still buy property there as a British citizen. I guess they can get a residence permit but I bet it's a PITA.

Still although Benidorm isn't my cup of tea good on them for deciding to go for it.

The houses Phil brought them to were lovely. I loved the second one.
Their house in Benidorm was very overlooked by high rise flats but they're happy.

I remember them and am surprised where they ended up, but don't blame them after recent crap times.

Their house in Spain looks like it was furnished out of a skip.

The transformation was really good in Scotland, I never understood complaining about road noise in the bedroom, as they had 3 others they could have slept in.

The final house Phil showed would be ££££££ to heat at the moment.

Was quite surprised they ended up in Benidorm, it seemed a world away from their tasteful home in Edinburgh!

I agree. It was a bit of a change and the property wasn't very nice. Not sure what the thought process was there.

Which I think is rare. Many stay there after doing all the building work

Was surprised by their Benidorm place

Not the fact they moved to the sun - but the space and the fact so overlooked

The roof terrace was lovely and assume far better weather then Scotland 😂

Could have been the prime mover for them. That and possibly the pandemic? Maybe they just decided cash in and seize the day for some time in the sun and a lifestyle change.

Me too! It really was a "wow" property imho. Nothing I've ever seen comes close to being that awesome!

I feel like we'll never be able to move from our house as we won't find one we both like! (Luckily we are not looking to move at the moment!)
