JollyPirate · 30/03/2010 21:56

9lb 4 - wow - DS was 9lb 6oz - and a cs too.

Congratulations to them both.

DragonMamiCooksWelshCakes · 30/03/2010 21:57

Thank the Lord DD was only 6lbs 4 oz!

emkana · 30/03/2010 21:57

ds was 10 4.5, and I had him naturally [boast emoticon]

ShowOfHands · 30/03/2010 21:57

They tried to turn dd. Ended up pulling me off the bed with the effort. She didn't budge a mm.

Didn't know it was a dedicated maternity hospital. In fact didn't know they existed. We have a dept in the general hospital. No birthing unit or anything. All consultant led.

DinahRod · 30/03/2010 21:57

ahh, it's all finished

hope they make another series

TeenyTinyToria · 30/03/2010 21:57

Brings back memories of my forceps birth with 9lb 7oz DS! I didn't have to go to theatre though thank goodness.

When I had DD, who was 8lb 1oz, she seemed so tiny in comparison.

Jaysfourth · 30/03/2010 21:57

my last two were over 11, norm delivery...neither had the 'chub' that that gorgeous bundle had though!!

CrankyTwanky · 30/03/2010 21:59

i've been induced only with prostin, not iv infusion, and didn't need synto for third stage.

Nannyj, my 6ft 2 friend had a grim labour and had to have a CS, the same thing happened to her and her first ds was 1oz off 12lbs and the longest baby the'd ever had, he looked really skinny though!
