MudandRoses · 30/03/2010 21:17

Hi everyone!
Do you think this could be the tragic last episode?? or will they end on a high???

i think this could be sad....

princessmel · 30/03/2010 21:17

scary

BitterAndTwistedChoreDodger · 30/03/2010 21:18

My heart is always in my mouth when they go to emcs

alle01 · 30/03/2010 21:18

my dh says he does not understand this compulsion to watch baby and labour programs so close to my due date.

MudandRoses · 30/03/2010 21:18

why don't they let family in when the woman is having general anaesthetic?? silly theatre rules

ellasmum1 · 30/03/2010 21:18

tragic? better not be!!

onestepforward · 30/03/2010 21:18

I don't think they would end on a sad one! Hope not or I'll be even more of a mess than normal!

LadyGaga · 30/03/2010 21:18

I've really enjoyed the series...hey, midwives and receptionists seem to only live off biscuits, biscuits and more biscuits....

I wish I'd seen this before having my babas.

ShowOfHands · 30/03/2010 21:18

Oh I shouldn't watch this.

But off the back of watching it and talking on here, I'm going to see somebody about my own memories of birth. Hurrah for the programme really. It's been nearly 3 years.

spilttheteaagain · 30/03/2010 21:18

I thought that ellasmum. Surely they don't all end in crash sections/forceps etc?

MudandRoses · 30/03/2010 21:19

my DP hates this programme

JollyPirate · 30/03/2010 21:19

No - it won't be sad - they would have had to give a warning beforehand if so. Bless her - only 19.

Aah DH said "ooh well that's straight to section then" when he heard the decells. He's becoming quite au fait with obstetric stuff!

Jaysfourth · 30/03/2010 21:19

hi Mud

MudandRoses · 30/03/2010 21:21

I actually think this is a brilliant series to watch when you're pregnant. It's strangely reassuring .. i mean, they do all end up with a baby, don;t they??

[touching wood frantically]

ellasmum1 · 30/03/2010 21:21

no, after 3 .5 yrs delivering hundreds of lovely babies in a midwife birth centre can assure you its not the norm on this prog

msrisotto · 30/03/2010 21:22

Hi Jays! Nice to see ya here. You are planning to stay with the Sept thread, aren't you?

ReshapeWhileDamp · 30/03/2010 21:23

4 cm already!

I think it's lovely that her birth partner/partner knows just how painful the contractions are!
