Evening annie

what would I do without you?

So did walter hunt out olivia espically as he did exsperiments on her years ago?

How can they get to the other universe?

Thank you xxxxx

No problem Blondes

No Walter didn't seek out Olivia, she found him when investigating a "strange / Fringe" FBI case, very first episode.

Walter build a device to open the door to the other universe which is how he stole Peter. A few episodes ago when those men stole Walter and connected parts of his brain externally to his head, they retrieved the memory from Walter on how to open the gateway, so now others know how to open it, they can do it whenever they want.

Hope that is clear.

How did I not know this thread was here? Just read it from start to finish. What a revelation!

I've watched Fringe from the beginning, absolutely love watching Peter it but havent understood a single thing! Now I can watch it with a faint glimmer of understanding. Thank you

Blondeshavemorefun · 04/04/2010 23:35

Gibbberish - glad to know I'm not the only thick one lol.
I started this thread in October so you are only 6mths behind times

annie is my guru

'blondes bows low'

now you have said that i rem the episode with walter losing his brain/memory and the 1st one where they found walter in the pyscho ward.

Just strange that out of all the FBI agents in the world that they find one who he used to exsperiment on

tho obv if he didn't then there would be no fringe

JimJammum · 09/04/2010 21:56

No Peter this week. Think next week's also develops story a bit. Want to know if Olivia and Peter ever did go out on their date....wanted to experience vicarious Peter-dating!

Blondeshavemorefun · 10/04/2010 19:35

and no cow

that was dh and i hightlight of each episode

would i sound mad if i say that walter is quite sexy with brown hair?

and i understood this episode as well

OP posts:
Blondeshavemorefun · 15/04/2010 15:59

poor olivia - not sure why she feels guilty and wants to tell Peter hes from another universe - it would destroy him

but basically a useless episode

OP posts:
Anniek · 15/04/2010 17:53

Yeah not moving forward, and after being frustrated about the X-Files rip off episodes with the comments about the other children having special abilities I'm a little concerned we're now moving into Heroes!

But still love Walter

Blondeshavemorefun · 15/04/2010 18:17

so annie,im not mad to have lusted over a young walter last week?

Musical episode coming soon a la Buffy???!!

Not many episodes left but at least they have confirmed there will be a third series.

Anniek · 30/04/2010 18:05

Yeah really loved it, love how excited Walter gets over the science regardless of its ultimate use

I've seen the trailer for the musical episode

Blondeshavemorefun · 03/05/2010 11:37

and dare i say it kinda made sense, tho remnded me of groundhog day

LostGirl · 06/05/2010 08:21

That was a good one too. Does anyone else think the person appearing on the bridge may have been the Walter from the other side come to get his son back? Probably not, that would be far too simplistic for this series

Anniek · 06/05/2010 11:36

Hi

I agree looked very Walterish to me too...

Blondeshavemorefun · 10/05/2010 23:23

Ahhhhhhhh running a week behind

finally watched last weeks with the bridge and as usual I got confused

what was the deal with 2 bridges and 2 men on the
bridge and the policemen who dissapeered

LostGirl · 11/05/2010 14:03

Do you remember when Walter brought Peter over from the parallel universe and he set up harmonic rods in a triangle on the ice to form a safe entrance? The shapeshifters were setting up harmonic rods when they killed the first two people so Olivia and Walter could work out where the third point of the triangle would be. There were two possible spots, one of them on land and one on the bridge over water. They guessed that this is where they would choose to open the gateway as Walter had said that the water would absorb the excess energy.

The bridge from the parallel universe starts to materialize and a figure from the other side walks onto the bridge, the sound waves disintegrate the FBI agent but leave Peter and the new arrival unaffected, because they are both from the other side, or have time travelled previously or for some other obscure reason. Peter manages to reconfigure the software or something causing the gateway to close and the shockwaves knock him out.

Does that make any sense at all???

If the man is not Walter, could it be William Bell coming back?? Looking forward to tonight, though slightly worried it will be a Peter free episode

Anniek · 11/05/2010 16:48

Lost Girl - Think you got that spot on

I mostly think it was Walter because on the bridge he had his hat on, and then when he was lying down the nose looked like Walters or at least I thought so.

Tonights is the musical one

Grumpyoldcaaaaaaaa · 11/05/2010 17:00

'slightly worried it will be a Peter free episode' Nooooooooooooooooooo

I just bought Series 1 on DVD box set and am happily meandering through them - unfortunately, DH has decided to get into Fringe so I have to keep panting and drooling admiring of Peter to a minimum.

Blondeshavemorefun · 11/05/2010 18:04

thank you - how on earth would i have coped withouy annie and lost girl?

vaguely rem the rod/ice thing, a recap would have been useful at beginning of fringe

maybe i fell asleep?

i understand the peter thing, ie not being killed as not part of the universe
