pmsl squilly

def run deep here!!

what was the point of the episode the other night

of people getting blown up by an old man

OP posts:
squilly · 22/10/2009 22:43

I SO didn't get that one. Icky bits of flesh being reconstructed in the lab. Why the feet FGS? I can't bear feet...especially not when they're pink and look like they've been made out of jelly sweets. Very unappetising.

I wonder if next week will be less puzzling?!? I hope so. It's making my follicles hurt.

LostGirl · 23/10/2009 08:14

I assumed that this weeks episode was one of those 'filler' ones, to show that lots of weird things are still happening but no actual plot progression, which probably means something has gone straight over my blonde head.

Blondeshavemorefun · 23/10/2009 19:56

ditto

Blondeshavemorefun · 26/10/2009 11:58

right any views on last night episode?

OP posts:
JimJammum · 26/10/2009 21:55

Well, we certainly seem to have advanced the story a bit. Hoping that the glow around Peter was just because he was from the alternative universe, rather than because he is a "baddie". I do wish I could make up my mind whether Nina is good or bad.....never quite sure. Just as soon as I make up my mind, someone throws a spanner in the works and I change my mind again. Good one last night, though.

Blondeshavemorefun · 27/10/2009 12:06

i think nina is good

again a pointless episode

unless i missed something vital

what is the purpose of the cow?

its in every episode

OP posts:
LostGirl · 03/11/2009 08:22

Completely pointless episode, and really quite dull and boring.

I imagine the cow is there to subtlely illustrate Walter's eccentric-ness, just in case we forget!

I really wish they would just keep the plot moving rather than keep on doing these filler episodes.

Blondeshavemorefun · 03/11/2009 10:58

same here

OP posts:
Anniek · 03/11/2009 11:24

Yes the cow is in every episode, apparantly cow DNA is the closest to human dna, so Walter can use it for experiments

Thought it was good especially when Peter "remembered" his nightmares

So he was actually remembering when Walter snatched him.

LostGirl · 03/11/2009 13:29

And once again Anniek explains the bits which have gone whizzing over our blonde hair

Blondeshavemorefun · 03/11/2009 14:20

i feel sorry for the cow then

Just started watching this, so have no clue as to whats happening as ive totally missed series one!!!!! Might have to find a box set!! Or are re runs on. The whole peter from a different universe

PerryPlatypus · 04/11/2009 20:20

I've just started working my way through the season one box set. Some bits of season two are starting to make more sense but I haven't got to the bit about Peter being from another universe yet.

Even dh is getting hooked. He's a Walter fan.

BikiniBottom · 04/11/2009 20:50

I am a major fringe fan. I missed that bit about peter too which is messing with my brain. I also watch Warehouse 13 but I am seriously disapoointed as I was expecting another Lost/Fringe type thing and got pulp instead. If you like lighthearted Sci Fi you should watch Being Erica as it is much better. It is about a woman who gets transported back in time to her own past to fix mistakes she has made.

Blondeshavemorefun · 05/11/2009 10:00

spugs i watched the entire series 1 and still dont understand it

OP posts:
meridian · 06/11/2009 11:36

its addictive.. I adore Walter, and have a bit of an infatuation with Pacey Peter

I watch Warehouse 13 as well, its lighthearted fluff but fun...

Anniek · 09/11/2009 11:45

OK now this one was a complete rip off of two X files episodes

LostGirl · 09/11/2009 13:18

Anyone else wishing they would move the story on a bit? Or at least just feature a bit more Peter

JimJammum · 09/11/2009 20:44

Apparantly, there's a snog coming, and I want to know who! Ditto above with Peter - we all know he's from another universe, so how long are they going to keep dragging it out before he finds out? Also, what has happened with the "war is coming" story - we had a filler last week, and yet to watch last nights, but I'm guessing from the messages above that we are still not back on track.
Having said that, I never watched X files, so nothing to compare with!

Anniek · 10/11/2009 17:40

Some times I think these shows are victims of their own success.

By that I mean if a show knows it's going to end they write it to end and tie up the story lines, like in "Life on Mars" and "BSG", but if they think it can run and run they don't get to the point very well and ironically that makes people stop watching .

Makes me feel kind of sad for the writers and producers because they are stuck between a rock and a hard place!

Blondeshavemorefun · 12/11/2009 22:36

i thought that annie (x files)

OP posts:
Anniek · 16/11/2009 10:36

It's official I'm fed up Only 15 minutes into last night's Fringe and it is a complete rip off of the X Files episode Pusher, where a guy can force people to do his will even if it involves self harm

Anniek · 16/11/2009 11:08

Blimey and by the end they had ripped off the X - Files episode "Eve"...

Either I watch too many X-Files or they have!
