oh happy! it's been far too long since Derren was on TV - and now...twice in one week!

On the show, I thought it was obvious that he was saying he rigged the lottery. I'm not saying I definitely did or didn't believe that - just that this is what I thought he was telling us. Not many people seem to agree with me on this - lots of people seem to think he was really saying the power of crowds thing did the trick - but clearly, if he has admitted the split screen, that changes everything.

Regardless, I am looking forward to Friday's show!!

I think you're probably right, Stealth, but didn't he appear to be claiming that's what he'd done?

I guess my opinion at the end of it was that I didn't really think he'd rigged but that out of all the explanations offered during the show, it was the most plausible. But that's only because the maths/crowds thing was not plausible at all and clearly part of his 'showmanship' thing.

Of course, I await the split screen confession with interest. I wasn't 100% convinced by the youtube thing - but my own confession is that I don't want it to be true. That's a bit of a let down for him, isn't it? He's not usually about camera trickery so it seems a bit of a cop out for him. Sadly, I suppose it is still the most likely thing. Poo.

I also agree about the camera trickery, but if you look at it that the 'trick' was done on the Friday, and the Wednesday was just the precursor, then it's a bit more acceptable.
