Fawlty Towers

Friends is the only thing I can watch over and over, but perhaps that is because it is repeated constantly.

I also loved 6 feet under.

But really, it has to be Friends, as unsophisticated as that may make me.

Bloody loved This Life too - never saw the episode they recently brought out though, does anyone know where i can get it?

EdwardCullensWife · 06/04/2009 21:02

This Life a close second

EdwardCullensWife · 06/04/2009 21:03

Loved Queer as Folk too. So many to choose from...

Bella73 · 06/04/2009 21:03

Buffy.

hotcrosspurepurple · 06/04/2009 21:03

I have never managed to watch an entire episode of friends all the way through, just too eurgh!

FlorenceDaphne · 06/04/2009 21:03

Buffy again! Truly a work of genius. If I ever do a thesis, it'll be on religious symbolism in Buffy.

Six Feet Under- wow!

And my current fave- Lost. Convoluted plotlines and all, it totally has me gripped.

southeastastra · 06/04/2009 21:05

mad men

Also loved This Life

compo · 06/04/2009 21:08

I also really liked Cutting It

and a series called Hearts and Bones with Dervla Kerwin and Amanda Holden and the guy from The Full Monty

hazeyjane · 06/04/2009 21:08

I hate questions like this, i feel compelled to answer, but they make me feel all panicky!

I'm going to say Buffy (but I may change my mind, because there are lots of other contenders - I love TV

ohdearwhatamess · 06/04/2009 21:08

West Wing (earlier series - tailed off later on)

Blackadder and Yes Minister/Prime Minister worthy runner ups.

chequersmate · 06/04/2009 21:12

Oh, DH got me into Spin City - I haven't seen much of it as there aren't many out on DVD but what I've seen has been v funny.

bitsnbobs · 06/04/2009 21:12

I would have said various 'classics' until the last year or so.

Now?

The Wire.

End of.

megcleary · 06/04/2009 21:24

The West Wing most definately

fartmeistergeneral · 06/04/2009 21:25

The great thing about Buffy was the continuity. (well one of the great things). Dr Who also does this well. When something is mentioned once then not again until well into the next series and you go 'oh yeeeees, I remember that!'

The Dawn storyline was genius. The way that she appeared and no-one batted an eyelid, and made you think 'huh? am I going mad?' and then it was revealed bit by bit.

Worthy of a thesis on various topics I reckon.

Joss Whedon is a genius writer.

daftpunk · 06/04/2009 21:26

agree blackadder

mammapiggy · 06/04/2009 21:52
