Anyone else excited about this starting up soon?

I'm guessing that The Oceanic 6 are going to go back to the island.

OP posts:

Caught up on last episode last night. I read on lostpedia that the eyeliner thing is how the actor really looks and not intentional in any way.

PlumBumMum · 18/04/2009 23:53

Just getting this back on to my threads I'm on list

Yeap there are a few people who have that eyeliner, can't think of them now though

PlumBumMum · 18/04/2009 23:54

oops suposed to be eyeliner look

SweetEm · 19/04/2009 18:57

Billy Zane has the eyeliner look

Dozymare · 19/04/2009 21:31

bored of the Miles centric episode tonight...and the relevance of it is what??

Merrylegs · 19/04/2009 22:29

Oh I liked the Miles episode - all that father/son bit (recurring theme again).

Also pleased to see more of Hurley, who seems to be the only one trying to take advantage of this time travel thing (writing award winning screenplay/urging Miles to change his own nappy...)

He seems to be the only one having fun with it all. Everyone else is taking it way too seriously.

lucykate · 20/04/2009 00:19

did anyone else catch that there is no episode again next week! why all the breaks?!

littlelamb · 20/04/2009 00:22

I will post again in the morning when my bed isn't beckoning but does anyone else htink that there are now 3 sides in this 'war'? Naomi was obviously working for Widmore, there is Ben's side, and now this lot who keep asking what lies in the shadow of the statue. Maybe to do with Elle?
Loved baby Miles' little Dharma blanket and polar bear story book

MitchyInge · 20/04/2009 12:44

that was quite a boring episode, although it left me wondering whether I should finally try and watch Star Wars?

lucykate · 20/04/2009 13:42

i think that episode was very much setting the scene for daniels return. i've read the next episode is the 100th episode, and daniel spills all he knows about the island.

i've also read that there are only a few episodes left of series 5, and a main character dies in the finale, don't know who though.

PlumBumMum · 20/04/2009 16:35

Did anyone else have a sense of relief now Daniels back (even though I didn't like him to begin with)

Merrylegs · 20/04/2009 22:16

No. I am very weary of Daniel. Perhaps less of the furrowed brow and breathy voice and I may warm to him. Especially if he spills the Island's secrets...

JRocks · 21/04/2009 17:34

God yes, Daniel's voice is beyond irritating. And when he appeared I realised I had no idea when/how he disappeared?

Am also baffled at Juliette's ability to be so reasonable. Surely there's some irrationality in there somewhere?!

littlelamb · 21/04/2009 17:47

O no I love Daniel. I still don't trust Juliet though. Not least because she has hooked up with Sawyer
I want to know how and why Daniel left the island in the first place. Presumably he went with Dharma's approval, but where has he been and what's he been doing?

PlumBumMum · 21/04/2009 21:33

Sorry hijack alert

Merrylegs, just been reading Black Beauty to dd1, is that where you got your name from?

or Is it from what I imagined in that when you have a little drink you like to have a little boogie

Merrylegs · 21/04/2009 21:55

Plumbum! You have been neglecting the Lostees (although you have returned recently). What did you do, get a real life?!

Yes, I am indeed named for Black Beauty's loyal four-legged friend. A nobler steed you could not find (apart from -sob- Ginger).

Have not read any books with Plum Bums in them though...

On the eye-liner note. Since it is natural, and seeing as Sawyer is now playing Happy Families in RL, I am going to transfer my alleigence to Richard. Clean or dirty, I don't care.

And Juliet? Yes, how irritating is her mouth. So 'butter wouldn't melt...'

There, think that about covers it for now.

Ceebee74 · 21/04/2009 22:01

Just watched this week's episode - I hated Miles when he first came in but I quite like him now...and am loving the double act with Hurley

Anyway, just another random thought that has popped into my head. As Miles has been working/living in the Dharma camp for 3 years, his mum must have seen him a few times around the place....so why, as he is growing up and eventually fully-grown, does she not think he looks familiar???

Goober · 21/04/2009 22:04

I missed Lost on Sunday. The repeat wasn't on yesterday. When is/was it on?

MintChocAddict · 21/04/2009 22:38

Hi Goober
Is on again Saturday @ 9pm on Sky1. No new episode on Sunday unfortunately - just a recap of the series so far and the Oceanic 6 story.
Also really enjoyed the Hurley and Miles chat this week, although not the most exciting episode after last week's cracker. Also a bit indifferent about Daniel. Trying to remember the last time we saw Daniel. I think it was when he decided to stay with Charlotte's body and then was there a flash???

littlelamb · 21/04/2009 22:40

I wonder if Miles and his mum are eventually sent away by his dad because he realises who Miles really is. I guess we will see the Incident and the purge happening at some time, and I wonder if Miles will be around then, either in grown up or baby form? But yes, why do they not recognise these people? Ben not recognising Sayid was explained by Rihard saying he wouldn't remember anything after he goes into the temple. I wonder how they will explain the rest of it

Whimsy · 22/04/2009 07:39

MintChocAddict - I think the last time we saw Daniel was when they were all sitting around a table outside in the Dharma camp and he saw a little girl walk past and just said Charlotte. He then just disappeared

I'm wondering if they sent all the children away Charlotte, Miles etc because the Dharma people were scared that the others would take them? After all it looks like they took Ethan.

PlumBumMum · 22/04/2009 12:13

Ohh Whimsy good point, but I think Miles has been avoiding his mother (I know 3 years on a small island but its abit of an explaination

Merrylegs I was just too dizzy with all the ideas floating about, I'm normally good at guessing whats going, on so between Lost and 24, I'll be getting a nose bleed.

Yes Juilette is starting to grate abit again(pity because I really like Mrs Claus) shes just way too laid back about it all

Ceebee74 · 22/04/2009 12:31

Yep Juliet is starting to annoy me aswell - wouldn't a normal woman have told Kate to 'stay away from my man' . Also, have I missed something but if Juliet was working in the motor pool as a Dharma employee, why has not one person questioned her ability to deliver children by c-section/look after injured children??

Well I certainly would if I was living with Sawyer

As for Miles avoiding his mum, I guess that is how they would explain it but really??

Goober · 22/04/2009 19:37

Thankyou.
