i am starting to feel sorry for Alice cause she is going to get a lot of abuse after people see this programme.

"More superior", eh, Alice? Not in terms of intelligence though.

Lord its like ebing back at school again. This is why i feel reluctant to send my kids to a private school even though most of the schools in my area are crap! I went to a private school and a lot of the pupils did see themselves as better than people at a state school.

charlotte - lots of people i went to university with came from private schools and automatically thought they were superior to the rest of us because of that (although that is of course a generalisation). Things evened out a bit over time though as they found they werent always the top of the class.

I thought her saying that state school children were "normal" was a remarkably intelligent thing to say for a girl who has a Mother like that!

its difficult to see where she'll get cash from aside from family -she is not exactly the brains trust is she?

In a way though I think that this is going to make people see that those of us on benefts and living in council properties arnt lazy wasters like snotty pants thinks.
