I will miss Jodie and Ian - their dancing wasn't the greatest, but they did enter into the spirit of 'doing their best and enjoying themselves'

Lisa's selfpitying tears at the end of the results show, just made me dislike her even more ...

VanillaPumpkin, thanks so much - am laughing out loud - made me like him even more Have saved the clip to watch in full later - wont be the same without them next week. They seemed to get on really well, no falseness from either of them either and no ego's.

Now just wished i'd watched previous series - might ask Santa for the dvd unless he can bring Ian in my stocking

I don't think Lisa's tears were self pitying, I think she's feels guilty that someone else had to go while she stayed, plus she must know that it means she's unpopular, I imagine that is not a nice thing to realize.

Re regional voting, surely anyone could be accused of attracting a regional vote of where-ever they come from? I should think Christine has a huge fan base purely from being on TV 7 days a week ;)

Agree MaryPoppins re the regional thing. It seems with any of these type things that a contestant from Scotland/ Ireland who is popular always gets the regional accusation. No -one said JS was so popular cos of all the English viewers voting for him, but am sure most of his support was Down South. Don't think Christine is an especially good dancer but she comes across as warm & friendly, always smiling & not taking herself too seriously. Maybe her personality has won her fans from all over the country & of course as you say she already has fan base from being on TV. I certainly didn't vote for Kenny Logan last year just cos we are both Scottish. He was shite & I wanted him out asap.

Shame, I thought you had insider info. Have looked on the internet re. his sexuality (and his height - how said am I) but failed to find anything). Gay, straight or bi he is lovely.

Like I say, Fionaann, he is really quite private.
A little while ago I was intrigued about the ages of the profs (how sad am I?). The only 2 I couldn't find DOBs for were Ian and Kristina.
