No, JS' exit means that once again it's a 2-person final.

Loved Vinc and Flavia's milonga. Even DP was impressed by it.
Rachel's catsuit was hideous but she managed to look good in it. DP told me he liked it and thought I'd look good in it ...just goes to show how little men know about fashion!
I think it's time for Christine to go. I didn't think her last few dances were up to much. I reckon a lot of people are voting for her because she seems smiley and nice rather than because she's actually any good.
Shame to see Jodie go as she seems v nice but her dancing's not the same standard as say Rachel's.
Is it just me who finds it funny how emotional Lisa has been at the end for the last 2 weeks. I'm sure I would be too if I were in the dance off but it does seem a bit melodramatic...surely she should be happy she got saved?
Does anyone know if Kristina and Brian will be back next year? TBH, I hope Hayley doesn't come back. Didn't like her at all. But I love Kristina and Brian. From all of Kristina's tearful appearances in the last week I wonder if she's being packed off back to Siberia

I imagine Lisa's upset because she knows the public's not voting for her. She's never going to make the final.

Christina's vote is purely regional - she's the Leon Jackson of Strictly.

Rosa - I LOVED her catsuit (not that I'd ever wear it).

And as for Arlene deliberately choreographing a dance that John couldn't do...a conspiracy theory too far, I think.

Gutted that Jodie and Ian are out - I know she's not the greatest dancer but she and he are so natural and lovely. Streets ahead on charm, imo.

Oh well. Guess I'll have to put my support behind Austin. I actually think Tom is the better dancer but just cannot abide the thought of his smug gurning as he lifts the sparkly glitterball...

Owwwww So sad to see lovely Jodie and Ian leave. They rocked that last dance. I wish Christine had gone instead.

Brian was heaps better than Darren in the pro dance. Thats the first time we have seen Hayley in a pro dance for a while I thought they must have sent her packing.

I thought the night fever dance wasn't that good they were all out of time and it seemed a bit all over the place to me. Maybe just the camera angles. Notice they didn't critise anyone after the disco dance.
The red trousers Ian wore were foul but worse was Brendan in the royal blue pair-gross.

The only thing I didn't like about Rachel's catsuit (except for the fact that she's about the only person in the world who could carry it off) was the decision to match the colour of it for Vincent's trousers

Anyway ... very sorry to see Jodie go but it is getting close to the end and it's going to be sad each week ... for me it's got to be Christine and Lisa next, then Tom leaving Rachel and Austin in the final ... but if Tom is getting the most phone votes then I'm not sure that will happen ...

I can't remember - is there a dance-off until we're down to the final two? So in the week before the final, only one couple will go through based on the public vote? If so, looks like it's SmugTom + one other in the final doesn't it? And the final 3 could be Tom, Christine and one other (probably Austin).

Shame - Rachel and Austin would be my choice too.

I hope it's not the two men in the final - I think that would be a shame. Personally I think Rachel is by far the best and would love to see her win, but I think it will be Tom. Still, I'd rather that than Austin - who seems far to smug for his own good!

My DS is cheering for Tom so hope he gets to the final for his sake - like Austin but his partner is a little too clingy.

Last year that's how it worked ... Alesha got thru to the final on the public vote - tho I think she was top with the judges too - and Matt and Gethin did the dance-off.

I hope that, as people leave, their fan bases get spread out evenly ... just have to wait and see I guess.

Annaje, I'd never say that Austin is smug, but Tom is insufferably so! But I am biased towards Austin so see him thru very different eyes from someone who doesn't 'know' him ... and about half of us seem to think Lisa is false while the other half think Rachel is ... it's what makes the competition so interesting

Yes I like Austin too but Erin is so DESPERATE to win, she can't hide it (even behind all the work she's had done [bitchy])

Did anyone notice Brendans face when Len praised Austin and Tom for their SNF dance - priceless. Almost worth watching for the blue trousers alone!!

Would be lovely to see Kristina win, she seems a lovely person and had a genuine respect and friendship with John despite his lack of dancing skills. Some of the other professionsals could learn a lot from her, some barely hide their contempt - especially Marks partner earlier in the series.

Tigerschick - I think you are right, everyone sees something different in the couples. I think Tom is arrogant, but I like his enthusiasm. I don't know what it is with Austin, maybe because he's kind of been the favourite (I felt the same about Alesha last year), but I can't warm to him. I love Rachel, she seems quiet shy IMO, and lets face it, the girl has had to put up with Vincent for 9 weeks - she deserves a trophy (he so would if he could).

I like Lisa too, but she's doesn't seem popular. I certainly don't want Christine to win - she's was terrible on Saturday.

Karen Hardy is opening a new dance school - I think.

I pity the person James would be partnered with next year if they were rhythmically challenged.

Agree that Tom was much better than Austin in the group dance. Really obvious seeing them side by side. I like Tom and would be happy if he won.

I lol'd too at the cut to the 'Mitchel' brothers after Rachel's beautiful delicate dance .

I LOVED Lisa and Brendan's quickstep. Thought the choreography was brilliant. They were much better in the dance off too, less gapping.

I will really miss Jodie and Ian though. They have been brilliant and Ian's 'boob' on ITT still makes me lol when I think about it. They were lovely together.
