such a good show. How vile are those people though?

Given that (as per last night's episode) AS has a son who is commercial director of Amstrad, how likely is it that he has the smallest intention of grooming any of these people to take over from him?

Pes · 24/03/2005 22:06

so how many more people now know about his cheap little cd player?....he's a smarty pants isn't he...

unicorn · 25/03/2005 01:47

yes but how many will buy it???
not me.. looks like that advert... a pile of.. !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

beansprout · 25/03/2005 10:17

I think it has been played well. I had the impression that he was looking for someone to take over but they are a bit vague and just say he is offering a job with a "six figure salary". They do seem to give the impression that he is looking for some sort of protege.

beansprout · 25/03/2005 10:17

I wonder if Saira's advert would stick to a blanket?

brinkley · 25/03/2005 11:54

LOL beansprout - rachel's dance would be in the blanket-sticking category

ssd · 25/03/2005 12:10

BTW, does anyone have a clue what sort of job the winner will eventually do?

MamanFlo · 25/03/2005 13:14

DH and I wouldn't miss a week of this, but I must admit the viewing is really embarrassing. It's definitely not the creme de la creme that we have here. I assume they wanted to gather a very diversified panel and at the end of the day the ones that are winning at the moment are the "posh" ones (Sebastian, James, Miriam) : the difference was obvious in the 2 last episodes. Saira and Paul haven't been able to detach themselves from their social background..especially Saira, making a fuss and looking soooo envious. She was just pathetic and should have been fired.

Saira is definitely a good salewoman...but is there much more to her ?

Love the backseat act of Raj as well...does this man have any guts ?

wonder what gems tonight's episode holds?

I was merely OVERSTATING that she HAD noT SEEN IT in her PROFESSIONALLED CAPACITY

spacedonkey · 30/03/2005 18:24

Totally addicted to this. Did everyone else find Saira's utter philistinism during the art task one of the most embarrassing things on telly ever? "what's your favourite COLOUR?" aaaaargh

james will definitely win

I am a brilliant salesman and I have proven that by helping others sell stuff. Honest.

And the fact that I am here while my wife is heavily pregnant at home really shows what my priorities are.

Surely Ben and Miriam are pulling ahead, with Saira - as she says, standing her ground,God forbid you take her into the board room - she wants to win.

Oh dear, poor James tonite. And what about Raj? Not so good, my son.
