I quite like Tim

franch · 24/03/2005 19:24

... to win, that is

Kaz33 · 24/03/2005 19:31

We rate Miriam, she was very slick last night.

katierocket · 24/03/2005 19:33

I disagree about miriam - I think she was good last night but I do think last nights was one of the easiest tasks.

THAT dance was up there with david brents

KoalaBear · 24/03/2005 19:59

what happened to Adele? it's been the only episode I missed

the only thing the official website says is that she quit

quite like Miriam to win, to make up for all the other unprofessional women who have already been fired and make me want to crawl behind my desk at work and die with embarassment

quite like Paul to be sacked just for his comment about women and power in last weeks episode - dealt with men like this before - they usually have arms long enough to scratch their knees

WideWebWitch · 24/03/2005 20:15

That dance was fab. Koalabear, Adele said 'I'm leaving' but obv, used loads more words and business bollocks speak to say 'I'm leaving' and then AS said 'you read it right Adele, you're fired.' Crunchie, totally agree re the women vs the men.

PMSL at Enid and the Saira type CAPITALS to EXPLAIN things

LIZS · 24/03/2005 20:21

Just watched it. Agree tessiebear - sort of thing you'd expect a bunch of shcool kids to chuck together for a project not someone lookign fro a 6 figure salary . If only life wa that easy lol. Think she lost it by her claim to have had some experience in that field - don't think SA would go for bluffers.

Paul was plain c**p at project manager, Raj kept his head down and Saira was too busy farting around with aesthetics to focus on the case in hand. There was no direction or focus and consequently what they produced was lame. Saira won't forgive him though so anticipate some backbiting to come.

I find Miriam a bit too aggressive but at least her team got the task done even though I didn't think their ad really worked. Guys really had their tongues out at her dresses - yuk!

Frances' role just grows and grows - but dh thinks she had done more than one take !!

PMSC piss myself cringing

mamadadawahwah · 24/03/2005 21:08

Just read the opening thread. This show is pukable in the extreme in my estimation and the contestants deserve all they get. Only problem is they are not very good at head games and give themselves away. The women are far too bitchy and emotionally involved and the men are well, wimpy, i think.

Havent seen the american but i am sure it has way more syncophantic behaviour in it. Why didnt someone tell the woman, who got fired few weeks back (cant remember her name, but she was blonde) to cut out the makeup and hair dye? I suppose they were all picked for a reason so you could
"love em, or hate em" but i mean really, talk about cheap tv!

Are these people really the bright young things of the private sector?

brinkley · 24/03/2005 21:17

did anyone else clock sir alan's metaphor - it involved shit and blankets - niiiiiiiice

beansprout · 24/03/2005 21:18

You really are left wondering if he has ever spent any time trying to remove said shite from blanket?

brinkley · 24/03/2005 21:19

lovely visual !!!

mamadadawahwah · 24/03/2005 21:21

No beansprout, they were obviously picked to make "good" tv, though, in this case, that hasnt succeeded in my opinion. Its painful to watch all these "bright" young things back stab each other. Its like watching vultures in a feeding frenzy. Sickening really. Real comment on the sad state of affairs in today's young employment market. If thats what you gotta do to get a job, i would say "stick it"! Of course for Sugar, its a real ego bending exercise and he is loving it. I am so glad, there is more to life than what he has got.

beansprout · 24/03/2005 21:24

I like the fact that he simply has the biggest chair. Subtle touch that.

brinkley · 24/03/2005 21:26

why would you have poo on your blankets anyway?

Pes · 24/03/2005 21:53

so..the jukebox ...is it back then?
