such a good show. How vile are those people though?

Funny that most of people at Farmers' Market were veggie. Round here Farmers' Market mainly sells locally produced meat - ostrich, cockerel, pork, beef, bison - and cheese and eggs (duck, ostrich and chicken). Oh and biscuits/cakes/bread. Very few vegetables last time I went.

I noticed that Paul had fallen out with Saira, then switched team...and fell out with new team mates. He is such a prick...especially having asked Ben to lead the team !

Working in Learning and Development and having set up management development courses for my company I wish there would be more positive coaching in this programme rather than only failure analysis ...and also an insight of what SAS thinks of the candidates individually. I am also wondering about how these guys have been selected in the first place...by TV researcher or real recruitment specialists ??? ...

decmum · 07/04/2005 12:28

You could actually employ either Saira or Paul...Saira has no tact and doesn't actually stop to listen to anyone. She offends all the specialists (cooks, artists etc.) and is patronising. She'd be a great mate though...life would never be dull.
Paul is a fiery misogynist who you just couldn't trust not to behave badly...again very funny but he burnt his bridges last night by being so childish. As always AS had clearly decided who he wanted to fire before they got in to the Board Room.
Next chance he gets it's going to be Raj, then Miriam (who he just doesn't like). Reckon Sira and Paul will make themselves so unpopular with the rest of the team that they will eventually leave AS no choice but to fire...leaving Tim and James.
Searched below but couldn't see anyone saying they knew for a fact that James doesn't win...did I miss something?
This programme is my favourite hour in the TV week...can't understand why but it's compulsive.

Metrobaby · 07/04/2005 12:40

Agree with Decmum that AS has already made his mind up before they get to the board room. I find all of them irriting and would hate to work with any of them. Shame about Paul's tantrum like behaviour this week as he has shown over the previous weeks that he puts everything he has into the task - I think he can be a very charming salesman. The tasks set so far seem to be very sales orientated. Tim seems to be quietly competent.

theMole · 12/04/2005 15:31

I think you will all be VERY surprised at the outcome of the show and who eventually goes on to win.

katierocket · 13/04/2005 08:19

Whaaaaat?!! you can't just say that and not tell us. COme on, spill it.

OP posts:
Enid · 13/04/2005 08:35

please please don't say - it would ruin it!!

Blackduck · 13/04/2005 08:56

Agree.....PLEASE don't tell - I'm loving trying to guess who goes this week....be pointless watching if I knew who had won....

beansprout · 13/04/2005 14:36

Another vote for NOT spoiling this one - please don't!!

katierocket · 13/04/2005 14:37

boooo, spoil sports

if it's a surprise then maybe it's miriam or something

OP posts:
beansprout · 13/04/2005 14:38

Can always start a spolier thread if you want to know?

theMole · 13/04/2005 15:27

Wouldn't dare spill the beams, I was actually annoyed with myself for asking and finding out, however it doesn't stop you from watching - trust me.

I just couldn't resist throwing a little spanner.

Like I said, it's all very interesting and I think you will ALL be very surprised, won't be posting about the ending. So no worries there.

Out

robin3 · 13/04/2005 15:59

Blimey...how can it be suprising...surely not Raj! Do they bring back someone from before to spice things up? Maybe he decides not to employ any one them?

beansprout · 13/04/2005 16:05

Surely not Raj, he really is spectacularly useless!! I'm thinking Saira....?

robin3 · 13/04/2005 16:13

He's the only one left that would surprise me. I reckon Pauls team will loose again tonight on the basis that Paul will be even more neurotic and will hate Miriam after last week...off the back of that Miriam will get the bullet.

katierocket · 13/04/2005 17:27

I don't think Siara would actually be that much of a surprise. I think it would be more surprising if miriam or Raj win since I actually think they'll go this week and next.

OP posts:
JoolsToo · 13/04/2005 17:29

stop trying to guess!

katierocket · 13/04/2005 17:41

why?
No-one is going to tell me so surely it's fun to speculate

OP posts:
JoolsToo · 13/04/2005 17:42

as long as nobody does tell!

MamanFlo · 13/04/2005 17:50

TBH none of the candidates really deserves to win this...and actually that's my guess !

tiddlypom · 13/04/2005 19:51

I'm now betting on Saira.

tigi · 13/04/2005 19:57

saira seems the most motivated, but god she does get on my nerves!

crunchie · 13/04/2005 20:10

I still kinda like Saira, she has been my girl all along. But someone told me of an interview with AS and he certianly wasn't impressed with any of them. Can't remeber exactly what was said. Can't wait though

theMole · 13/04/2005 20:22

won't tell you who wins but I'll tell you who doesn't

Saira doesn't
