Paul is horrid, his comments about women the oterh week were very revealing.

Miriam has to go for doing that Rising Australian thing with her sentences though. And tilting her head too much.

Ooh I love this show, DH does not allow us to watch the trail at the end of the show (never reads previews or film reviews till afterwards either resulting in some truly awful wasted evenings) so I didn't see the chutney/jogger interface but CANNOT WAIT!! She has to go, non? I reckon James to win. Who do you reckon is sleeping with whom?

hot off the press (DH's friend is a good friend of James) he is gay and he didn't win!

spacedonkey · 31/03/2005 15:32

ARGH PLEASE DON"T TELL ME SAIRA WON

desperatehousewife · 31/03/2005 15:36

i don't know who won. But i agree - she can't win - she must surely be slapped round the gob before winning.

spacedonkey · 31/03/2005 15:37

i thought james was a cert to win, but after last night's episode i wondered if he was too - ahem - "poncey" for sir shug

desperatehousewife · 31/03/2005 15:41

I thought Miriam was good last night.
Tim could win I think....

spacedonkey · 31/03/2005 15:43

i think tim's too nice

it could be paul

JoolsToo · 31/03/2005 17:04

I didn't notice Miriam doing AQI! - that really irritates me usually!

Think she's in with a chance myself.

Moomin · 31/03/2005 18:00

can't believe I've missed this thread so far! Can i just say that in our offical capacities as equal team leaders in our house, dh and i are HOOKED on this. Cringed til i thought i would explode last night at the mel smith fiasco (GRJ having to bid for his prize!!!)
paul is a dickhead and HAS to go. didn't he say his wife is preg? must be nice being left on her own, with one child already, for up to 12 weeks while her husband tries to play Bertie Big Bollocks!
Dh and i are still re-enacting rachel's presentation from last week. ('...just kick off your shoes, let's dance.... look at this... what does it remind you of...? - er, a pile of shi*te, love?) hilarious
Disappointed to hear James gets the boot soon. Can we make a pact not to do any spoilers on this thread if anyone finds out the winner?
dh thinks Tim will win. Miriam and Ben are also dark horses. can't wait for the farmers market next week. hoorah!

Tinker · 31/03/2005 18:03

Had to watch teh repeat last Sat just for Rachel's presentation - even better 2nd time round

Please don't anyone give anything else away! desperatehousewife you've spoiled the suspense!

desperatehousewife · 31/03/2005 19:10

oh my god - i'm so sorry. I feel very .

Moomin · 31/03/2005 20:34

that's ok, desperatehousewife - [sternly] don't do it again!
a tv critic for the sunday times wrote about this programme after the 1st episode (think it was roland white) and said that the most embarrassing thing you can watch anyone do on Tv was to see them have an idea... and i think that is sooooooooo true the more i see. fab though isn't it?

desperatehousewife · 31/03/2005 20:45

I literally sit behind my hands every week - it's just so cingeworthy!

hatsoff · 31/03/2005 20:57

I love this but haven't been following it too closely. Anyone else deeply suspicious of an "investment banker" who gives up his job for the chance to get a job with a 6-figure salary. Sorry but if he hasn't got a 6-figure salary already then he's not an investment banker.
