What's your favourite line from Friends?

I've just been watching reruns of Friends on E4 and there's so many classic lines I thought you lot might have some faves.

Frank Jr (when he asks Phoebe to take one of the children): Phoebe, I haven't slept for four years

And the fact that he calls one of them Frank Jr Jr

He's such a great character.

Sean Penn: I teach second grade
Phoebe: I love second grade!

I love the actor who plays Chandler's tranny dad, is it Kathleen Turner?

"I'm also a mento...."

Joey to soap opera digest journo.

Also....

"Chandler, what would you do if I did this"

My favourite episode ever. I still PMSL everytime.

And....

Joey: "I was over at the buffet when I slipped on a booger"

Phoebe: "could it have been an oyster?"

Joey: "I dont know, I just wiped it on Chandlers jacket and moved on...."

Finally...

Chandler: "I dont know but Donald trump wants his blue blazer black.....er back, he wants it BACK"

Rachel: "Why would he want it black?"

Chandler: "I meant back"

Monica: "you messed it up"

"but who would dress a boy in pink?" to Rachel when she has her baby daughter

"Joey doesn't share food"

when joey can't sleep with anyone cos he's being a sperm doner and finds otherways to satisfy his latest and says

'it's lke a tickertape parade' and chandler replies 'I know my room is very close to the parade route'

When Phoebe teaches Joey french. PMSL big time.

I love the bit where Brooke Shields licks Joey's hand.

I love the breastfeeding episode where Ross is trying to educate Joey about breastfeeding.

(is it just me, or does LK today's fashion 'expert' woman, remind you of Pheobe and Monica's friend who kept slipping between the brit and US accents, was it A-marn-da?)

I liked the thing Rachel says when in labour about smoking the damn thing out...

Rachel is possibly the only person on TV ever to have had a long labour, rather than one of those quick dramatic ones!

hughjarssss - I get choked up every time when Rachel is in the bathroom with Monica and Pheebs and says "how can you miss something you never even had". Sob.

PHOEBE: Ok, Ross, could you just open your mind like this much, ok? Wasn't there a time when the brightest minds in the world believed that the world was flat? And, up until like what, 50 years ago, you all thought the atom was the smallest thing, until you split it open, and this like, whole mess of crap came out. Now, are you telling me that you are so unbelievably arrogant that you can't admit that there's a teeny tiny possibility that you could be wrong about this?

when Chandler and Monica are about to get it on for the firs time. they get into bed and agree to strip.
Monica truns to Chandler and says "wow you got undressed really fast"
to which he says
"it bodes well that speed impresses you"

Ross "what would you do if you were omnipotent"
Joey "kill myself. if little Joey's dead there's no point me being here"

or
"Fenappoli"
or the two fists msacked together a la Ross.

Excellent thread! My two faves:

When Phoebe is trying to 'seduce' Chandler;

Joey "Show him your bra - he's afraid of bras, doesn't know how to work them" and he flips it open and says "It's not my first time!"

When Rachel and Paul (Bruce Willis) go to the cabin and Paul is standing in front of the mirror "You're a neat guy..huuurr"

That second one I probably didn't capture the full comic genius - the only time I've ever liked Bruce Willis! I don't think I've ever laughed so much as the first time I saw that.

PMSL - I love all of these.

Apart from a half hour show of the hills

I love the bit where Rachel is overdue and she flops on the sofas in central perk screaming get out at her bump.

I also liked alot of Ross' parts in the last series, when Rachel and Joey went over for dinner.
That was a v funny episode.
