You mean apart from that fact that the subwave network she used to contact the Doctor's companions is clearly run from the Master's Archangel satellites because it used the same four beat pattern...

Sorry, just being overly geeky for fun..

RustyBear · 01/11/2008 17:51

A job....

Katisha · 01/11/2008 17:51

Oh right! Phew!

JackieNo · 01/11/2008 17:56

at DT leaving. HAve just read The Writer's Tale, and it's fab. RustyBear's right - it really doesn't seem as if all the links that we see are pre-planned, at least not in the way we think. I guess Moffatt might work differently though.

JackieNo · 01/11/2008 17:57

Look!.

SoupDragon · 01/11/2008 19:10

Oh god, how the hell am I going to explain the lack of series next year to the SmallDragons??

Why??? What were they thinking?

SoupDragon · 01/11/2008 19:11
RustyBear · 01/11/2008 19:36

David Tennant was thinking he'd like to play Hamlet, and Russell Davies was thinking he'd like to leave.....

KayHiding · 01/11/2008 19:36

You could always terrify them with the possibility of it disappearing for decades again... might make the specials seem rather a good option!

He might be back though...

GunpowderTreasonAndLemon · 06/11/2008 23:11

They have the standard multi-Doctor option or the new, improved(?) Alternative Universe Doctor 10.2 option now, of course. So they could bring back two of him if the special effects budget would stand it...

scaryteacher · 07/11/2008 09:00

Two David Tennants...mmmmmmmm

Fubsy · 08/11/2008 14:00

Look what I found on Ravelry! For a knitters website, there are some hardcore fangirls on there!

I'm going to be CiN bucket-shaking while the preview is on.... hope my kind family remembers to tape it!!

RustyBear · 14/11/2008 21:31

So does anyone else think the girl presenter in the black sparkly dress on CIN looks just like Anneke Wills?

ReallyReally · 17/11/2008 10:53

we missed the CIN thing

I couldn't give a bugger now tho I am fully in Smallville mode

UnquietDad · 18/11/2008 00:14

DD asked me the other day where the toilets were in the TARDIS. One of those things I'd never given any thought to. (We used to see some of the other rooms in the old series but so far since the revival we haven't. We don't even know where Rose/Martha/Donna slept.)

I think "Babylon 5" is the only sci-fi show where I have ever seen people actually using the facilities. Somehow you can't imagine it in "Star Trek" - Captain Picard excusing himself during the Borg invasion for a quick dump (no doubt the doors would still do that psssssht! thing) and emerging after a few minutes to say to Riker, "I'd leave it for a little, Number One. That's what I call a Captain's Log." And Deanna Troi would smirk a little and try not to make any jokes about Klingons.

BlackEyedDog · 18/11/2008 12:10

we saw the upstairs of the Tardis in The Christmas Invasion, he had masses of clothes on rails in there. I think the loo was just off, down the landing to the right.

SciFiFan · 18/11/2008 12:14

Have just been watching the CIN trailer on YouTube for about the 10th time. I'm going to miss David T....and he's not even gone yet .

Anyone else feel sorry for Stephen Moffat - he's got a hard act to follow and won't have either an established Doctor or companion!

hannahlouhoo · 18/11/2008 12:21

aww i love david tennant sooooo much, my dp thinks i am insane, but he is just so lovely. why does he have to go of and further his career???!!! just stay as dw and entertain us for years to come!!!

who was the best compainion? Rose Martha or donna? personally it was donna for me as she wasnt in love with him as both Rose and martha were!!

drunkatthetime · 18/11/2008 12:24

in star trek voyager, they were always showing blanna torres having sonic showers. and picard washing his face in the sink a few times.

ReallyReally · 18/11/2008 16:22

scififan link please

serenity · 18/11/2008 18:40

Here it is.

You see bathrooms/toilets whatever in Supernatural all the time. I heart showers.....

UnquietDad · 19/11/2008 21:32

For anyone interested in "old" Who, there is an interesting interview with the guy who wrote "Full Circle" from the 1980 season here. He's one of the series' more elusive writers and I think it's his first print interview in the 28 years since his episodes went out!
