😆 that’s probably it!

And yes, how absurd that nobody has twigged that Ross was in the library with Jerry the faithful and two other people for ages the night he was murdered in plain sight?? You couldn’t make it up, just like when they didn’t seem to care that neither Hannah or Jerry got murdered when they should have! It just seems so unlikely and contrived.

Oh no, they were suspicious about Hannah and Jerry not being murdered.

But yy to the library thing. Maya even said at breakfast the next morning, when talking about the library, "we were all in there with him" and then went on to name all three traitors and Jerry.

KeefTeef · 25/10/2026 15:15

(Kenny was also in there briefly.)

Timenowforanamechange · 25/10/2026 15:48

But the murder could have been at any time. No one has thought of a yawn or sitting on a chair or saying am I boring you?

They are thinking a touch, a kiss, passing a drink.

They will in the next series though 😁

MrsMitford3 · 25/10/2026 15:52

When do the ppl banished at teh round table stop saying if they were faithful or traitor?

Seems like an awful lot to cram in to 2 episodes?

I hope it isn't too micromanaged by producers to get the end they want...

Timenowforanamechange · 25/10/2026 15:55

Edit as possible spoiler for another traitor show

MerryAquaKoala · 25/10/2026 17:08

'Going back to Michael (poor Leanne and Sharon really have felt the brunt of his accusations - yes it’s a game but they have both seemed verging on upset at the RT), I am annoyed that my previous perception of him as excellent actor and philanthropist is giving way slightly to the ‘type of bloke who literally gets with someone a year younger than his daughter’ vibes…'

Yes totally agree. It's not ok.

WonderfulSmith · 25/10/2026 17:43

ilovesooty · 25/10/2026 09:39

Jessie said it on Uncloaked too.

I bet Jessie had had to put up with that shit even more than the rest of us with her stutter.

RoxieLoxy · 25/10/2026 17:48

Also re Michael - when someone (Romesh?) said they were surprised he hasn’t been murdered because he’s such a strong faithful and good leader etc (words to that effect) and Michael goes, “yes I’m surprised too”. Ugh.

MerryAquaKoala · 25/10/2026 17:53

The editing on this years celebrity show seems weaker then any other traitors I've seen.

B9waiting · 25/10/2026 17:56

CaveMum · 24/10/2026 13:56

He’s got to stick, if he changes it will look suspicious and right now the Faithful are jumping on any excuse.

Edited

I agree, he’ll stick as otherwise it looks dodgy.

Stowickthevast · 25/10/2026 18:06

One of the podcasts said it deliberately finished on Kenny as with 2 votes, that was the only way there could be a cliffhanger. There's no way he'd change his vote.

jumpintheline · 25/10/2026 19:20

BattleHimForARepublic · 25/10/2026 09:28

Romesh is such a treasure. Every time he opens his mouth he says something hilarious (and it never seems forced or overly considered).

So I hope he gets to stay until the end.

Edited

I feel the same. Bloody love him, he just seems like such a nice man. Always enjoy his radio 2 Saturday afternoon slot ❤️

I want to rewatch the last task I think. It really did seem to me at the time that the group were talking about who to give the power to, a few names went in and then Sharon immediately looked unhappy and from then on kept refusing to say why - it was really annoying. She hadn’t actually said anything to suggest a different name or say “not this person” but just made it very clear she felt she had been left out of the decision. They were still discussing it! She walked off and they asked her several times what she thought and she was all “no no you’ve all decided without me who cares what I think, we should go with the majority, I’m irrelevant” - it was v irritating. If she’d just said “actually James a said he didn’t want it” straight away it would likely have been a different conversation.

I felt this way. If she’d stayed more reasonable she could have got her point across - they were listening. She seemed to throw her toys out the pram and say repeatedly “no don’t worry about it”. Came across to me as a bit immature.

jumpintheline · 25/10/2026 19:28

@Choux
Of course if the final 5 includes 3 traitors there is potentially only 2 rounds of banishment needed which will save some time. And make it boring….

I wonder if this if why the crypt/puzzle challenge got thrown in. It felt the most exposing for the traitors.

I’m probably clutching here.

Sweetpeasaremadeforbees · 25/10/2026 20:05

Choux · 25/10/2026 13:46

Yes but the last episode is usually over an hour and possibly 1.5 hours. and the endgame is usually just banishments / votes to banish so it’s doable:

Thursday: Sharon / Joanne exit, then murder, mission then next RT exit = 7 left
Friday: Last murder (this might even be squeezed into Thursday), mission, banishment to get to final 5, last mission then endgame.

Of course if the final 5 includes 3 traitors there is potentially only 2 rounds of banishment needed which will save some time. And make it boring….

I agree with you, three Traitors and two Faithfuls would be pointless and boring in the endgame so I can't imagine the producers allowing it but who knows? The thing is that the production team can change the rules as they go along and from series to series so maybe they'll allow six to go through this time?

Or maybe they'll come up with a mad idea to get rid of one of the Traitors so it's the usual two? DH came up with a crazy idea involving the Traitors having to murder one of their own!

'DH came up with a crazy idea involving the Traitors having to murder one of their own!'

That's a great idea. Traitors doing what they do best. Get rid of the weakest in the traitor pack.. byee james A - he'd be murdered in a jiffy by the other 2

WeirdlyNorm · 25/10/2026 21:38

At the beginning they voted Julie most trusted, then banished her 2 days later (!)

So I wonder if they'll turn on James A/Maya/Kenny. Especially as we know a faithful will be banished next.

Especially if they start to think about Ross's murder properly, and who was with him!

sweetpickle2 · 25/10/2026 22:22

It’s such a stupid cliffhanger, it doesn’t matter who goes out of Joanne and Sharon at this stage, we know they’re both faithful.

I’m sick of everyone banging on about how wise Michael Sheen is- he’s not said anything right this whole time! He’s just a middle aged white man who speaks with confidence so everyone assumes he knows what he’s talking about- definitely benefitting from positive unconscious bias.

It’s got to be a traitor win surely? Hopefully Kenny. I actually think James A is playing a great game, he’s good at the round tables. Maya voting Bash was stupid and will look suspicious- I don’t think she’s much of a strategic player at all.

Mondaytuesdayhappydays · 25/10/2026 22:35

Umbilicat · 25/10/2026 09:30

I was away last week and only just caught up, so I’m sure this has been sent 1 million times on previous threads but why were Maya and Kenny SO soft on James A after the task? I was expecting them to go mental on him in the turret – though admittedly that’s not the way either roll - but they seem to have just shrugged and gone oh well and got home with it. If I was M or K I would either be plotting with the other, or at least on my own, to get James out before the end because he really doesn’t deserve a win and at this stage a win for the traitors seems inevitable

And James B is probably the most clueless faithful ever

I like Sharon, she was very astute and she was overlooked 😡

I don’t think men value the opinions of women in their late 30s/40s who aren’t conventionally attractive to them - unless they are a matriarch mumsy /battle axe type character

Mondaytuesdayhappydays · 25/10/2026 22:38

Choux · 24/10/2026 23:07

Another thing the faithfuls might finally hone in on: they know Ross was in the library for a while before being murdered in plain sight. He was in there with Jerry who is now known to be faithful plus Maya and James A. Perhaps someone might start wondering if he was murdered in the library by one of them?

I find it baffling that people in the game have their ‘💯 faithfuls’ they would never consider

If I was playing those I found the most convincing to ‘myself’ (grrrr) and to others would be the ones I would suspect the most

I felt a bit of frustration from her to be honest, that bit where as a young woman, and a less 'conventionally attractive' perhaps, although I don't like to say that, she is probably so used to being dismissed so probably thought what's the point. I know i've have plenty of moments like that.

I quite agree. Mary Beard has said the same thing. Men don’t find her attractive, they don’t see their mother in her so they don’t know what to do when faced with an intelligent woman that they can’t just dismiss.

LoudBlueSeal · 26/10/2026 00:13

Yeah, Sheen isn't coming across well, he tried to talk over Miranda too, but she upped her volume and kept talking (legend). I think he pays attention to Maya due to pretty privilege but doesn't actually listen or expect much from her, and so hasn't noticed her withholding theories.

I have noticed James A treats the women as equals, and they seem to trust and like him, (same with Rob Beckett), he was engaging and respectful to Julie, he was a friend to Miranda and Bella, and they seemingly like him and so does Sharon. He jokes with Joanne and disagrees with her in a way that isn't dismissive.

With Maya, he has made many of the suggestions for successful traitor moves, like selecting Rosskemp for missions to engage his paranoia, and recruiting Kenny, but always in a collaborative way, and he listens too. This is basic respect and shouldn't be remarkable but compared to some of the older guys, it is.

There's a certain type of man who views the opinion of women as an irrelevance, and dismisses them full stop.

Goodness, I hadn’t noticed or thought about any of this - it’s so true! Very eye opening!
