Strictly 2026 : THE LAUNCH SHOW 19.25hrs How will our new presenters fare ? NO SPOILERS

[EineReiseDurchDieZeit]

A shiny new thread for a shiny new series. Please bring your dancing shoes over here.

Not sure whether I am doing weekly threads or not yet. Yet to decide, but I’m doing one for the first episode anyway.

The preshow chat thread has been quiet and I’m wondering if lots of people aren’t watching due to the departure of Tess and Claude. I have my reservations about the new presenting team but I’m willing to give them a chance.

KEEP DANCING 💃

Ah thank you! I forget honestly

Dont mind Josh, but he seems a weird choice. He may make it funny though

Her dress is awful. She’s beautiful with a great figure and it does fuck all for her

How many minutes in are we?!

Don't like Emma's dress. I expect the twist is two women.

I just don’t get what the third presenter is going to do… one on the dance floor and one upstairs then another one somewhere else??

Squashed. And I cant tell if that's her bra half sticking out or part of the dress and meant to look like that. Either way it's a bad look

He's too short

Either have Emma and Johannes (my pref)

Or Emma and Josh

Agree!

She should be channeling Claude a bit more!

😄😄

dani dyer back

I've got slightly impaired hearing and I can't understand him at all.

So did I.

I really like Emma Willis and she'll be excellent Im sure. I think Josh will be ok. Johannes is an amazing dancer but presenting is such a skill and worried he'll find it hard. May have been better with just Emma and Josh.

Go on Lacey! 🩷

I’m sorry , but I don’t understand a word he is saying, subtitles required!

Saved by Will Best and Laurence Robb for me.

Lacey's walk is not too promising! But then neither was Karen's.

Content creator and social media influencer aren’t celebs!
only know about 3 of them 🤔

That is what I just said to the telly!!

Is Lacey there against her will or is it nerves. Strange smiley but not expression

Snap opinion ... Josh doesn't need to be there. Three presenters is too much

Shirley will hate Danni but won't be able to bully her as she's too connected

Who will replace Danni in her affections 🤔

presenters voices don’t seem strong enough apart from maybe Josh. It feels like they need to shout to have any impact

its coming across much more ITV rather than BBC, which ismt a good thing in my view
