Strictly 2026 : THE LAUNCH SHOW 19.25hrs How will our new presenters fare ? NO SPOILERS

[EineReiseDurchDieZeit]

A shiny new thread for a shiny new series. Please bring your dancing shoes over here.

Not sure whether I am doing weekly threads or not yet. Yet to decide, but I’m doing one for the first episode anyway.

The preshow chat thread has been quiet and I’m wondering if lots of people aren’t watching due to the departure of Tess and Claude. I have my reservations about the new presenting team but I’m willing to give them a chance.

KEEP DANCING 💃

Who’s mr frosted tips??

Nor me. 😬😳☹️. It’s soooooo disappointing. The new presenters are awful together, terrible choices. I’ve turned it off. Weren’t they reported to have great chemistry? I’d hate to see the almost-made-its 😬

This show has been appointment tv for me and different generations in my family for so many years until now. No one has anything good to say! I miss Claud so much, there was a balance of fun, levity and sincerity majorly missing now. This feels flat and forced.

Rob Lawrence ( the Emmerdale man) is gorgeous!
I May have to start watching Emmerdale

Yes , Hollyoaks

He is very fine isn't he. He's great in Emmerdale too.

I think I may like Graeme the dog whisperer.

Kim Kardashians hairdresser.

Graham (or however he spells it) may have danced before, but he strikes me as gonna get ripped by the judges.

It’s all he has relevance wise to be fair!

Bloody love Katya

But other people may not know your 5 and will know others!

Oh! Thank you

Josh needs to go back to the Nursery!

You know what girls Chris Appleton has a very bisexual energy

I haven't looked at him twice thinking he's just gay and that's it. But I can see him being with a lady like me

Hairdresser reminds me of Jake Shears

Looks like hes messed with his face.

I like Josh ! He will settle down

Yessss!!!

Cach also seems very stiff to me. Hopefully he will work that out by the lives

It's my lowest ever celeb recognition year. I usually know to some degree or another everyone apart from social media folk and reality TV people but this year I only know a few.

Blah. Katya with a no hoper.

'Content creator' as a job title always makes me think OnlyFans 😏

Also, i think they should have made Anton one of the presenters, with Emma and either got a new judge (Johannes?) or just had three - it would have made tie breakers easier!

Is he not Lawrence Robb??

Hopefully Katya can sprinkle her magic but sadly she appears to have got a duffer ☹️

He is

I don"t know who Will is, but he will go far.

The self taught dancer guy never seems to be able to keep up with the moves.
