I couldnโ€™t understand how Ryan and Ruth paid all that money for a semi. Although it was amazing, I couldnโ€™t paid that much and not have a detached. I thought the one round the corner from their rental was much better. Surely youโ€™d want to be near the primary school youโ€™ve put down for your child. Also couldnโ€™t understand how they had so much money and their obsession with space.

Peter and Kirsty will never find anything. They seemed obsessed with being remote as long as it wasnโ€™t any further than 45 minutes from Liverpool. What happens if you want kids? Youโ€™d be driving for everything.

Well, formerly London-based, so everything looks cheap to them in the north.
And WFH while in a London based tech job that pays well. They'd easily be spending that much to have any kind of house in London.

E3 tonight

in Warwickshire, can Isla and Luke overlook a cemetery to call a new house

And can JAN and JOHN explore a property of snugs PARTY ready gardens and games room galore?

I was watching!!

Itโ€™s a lovely house that the older couple chose. Iโ€™m surprised that Northamptonshire was in the running itโ€™s a bugger to get to from the Cornwall/ South West.

i get why school catchments are important. Hover the dc is only 18 months old. Anything could happen to a school in 2.5 years or so.

Dilemma999 · 07/10/2026 21:00

Loved the house they actually bought, it was pristine although it was quite an unconventional layout. I donโ€™t think Iโ€™d want to be too rural either, especially as it sounded like sheโ€™d be in the house alone quite a bit.

Blondeshavemorefun · 07/10/2026 21:41

True about schools

That young couple will spend ages getting something

Banjas · 07/10/2026 23:27

I loved the house they bought.
The younger couple dismissed the first house because the kitchen was too dark. Yes it dark blue but haven't they heard of paint ?
It seemed to be ideal for them, location wise.
I donโ€™t know what was wrong with the last house in Stratford either.

SinisterBumFacedCat · 08/10/2026 00:24

That was one of the worst haircuts I have ever seen, mullet meets bowl cut.

Banjas · 08/10/2026 08:57

I wasnโ€™t keen either

devonshireduke · 08/10/2026 09:50

Itโ€™s the first time in decades of watching LLL that Iโ€™ve been totally distracted by a haircut!

I couldnโ€™t figure out what was going on with the younger couple. I donโ€™t think they (or maybe just the woman) had any intention of buying anything, yet they were living in his parentโ€™s garage with a small child and several dogs. I felt like there was something that wasnโ€™t being said!

Banjas · 08/10/2026 15:47

They were shown 3 lovely houses and I too thought it was odd that they didnโ€™t want to get out of that garage as fast as they could @Liketolurk
A small child and 3 dogs in a converted garage that they said was cold.
I felt sorry for the in laws ๐Ÿ˜€

Liketolurk · 08/10/2026 17:58

Perhaps the in-laws applied for them to go on the show ๐Ÿ˜‚ @Banjas

I know what you mean. I was imagining the mumsnet threads from both them and the in-laws.

Walkingwithlions · 08/10/2026 23:01

About the haircut, I kept thinking there was going to be a reveal that the poor woman had recently undergone some sort of surgery.

Dilemma999 · 08/10/2026 23:36

The haircut was so distracting. They showed a photo of them from another time and she had beautiful hair and it looked so much better. I wonder if they didnโ€™t really have the budget after all for the houses they were shown.

Wowthatwasabigstep · 09/10/2026 13:08

Caught up with it last night whilst doing late night painting, living the dream.

The haircut was very distracting and also I think they were Civil Partners which I found puzzling why not just get married? I found them a strange coupling and thought that one of them was maybe โ€˜not being their true authentic self.โ€™

Their preoccupation with school catchment was puzzling as their child was only small. They reduced their budget at the end so I imagine they are still living in her in-laws cold garage.

I was glad the older couple bought and would probably have had decorators there on the day of completion.

circe94 · 10/10/2026 09:20

I thought the younger couple were very precious. I get that a graveyard isn't to everyone's taste but that, plus grumbling about being on the edge of the catchment area, slightly too dark kitchen etc, yet were happy to mooch off in laws and live with their young child in a cold garage?!

JacknDiane · 10/10/2026 09:33

The haircut was certainly odd. They were an odd couple. I spent the episode going through all the possibilities they could be.....and yes a civil ceremony. What a load of bollocks.
I feel for the in-laws.

Walkingwithlions · 10/10/2026 09:47

Iโ€™ve lived next to a graveyard. I really liked it as it was very peaceful and attracted a lot of wildlife, especially birds. I used to walk the dog through there sometimes as the gardens were lovely. That couple were a bit weird.
