Dh was right about River then. We haven't read the books.

Without wanting to spoil it for anyone else.. look away now.

What are we supposed to understand happened in that last scene?

In episode three the male assassin took out a load of dodgy looking powders etc and laid it all out on the table. He then eyed up the crowbar next to the drying rack and the scene ended. River picked up the crowbar while he was sorting out the wine glasses. As soon as he picked it up he started rubbing his hand and you know the rest.

I didn’t understand it much tbh. I have a theory , but I haven’t read the books and I’m usually wrong.
My idea is Sid is a baddie, but it’s only a hunch and based on nothing at all. who was in the shower ?

When River arrived at the house you could see Sid through the upstairs window. What I'd like to know is how the assassins knew how to follow River and/or Sid all the time and why Sid hadn't moved the crowbar herself since she had been there a few days.

Is there anything new(ish) worth watching on Apple? I have a big Ted Lasso and Slow Horses hole in my weekly viewing. I wasn’t wild about Down Cemetary Road (but I’d only recently read the books and thought Emma T was a poor choice for Zoe).

I can cope with subtitles.

Have just watched. TEnzing - it was excellent. Although I don't understand why anyone would want to climb Everest The story is gripping and touching.

Dh has started watching that whilst I was at work. Glad it's good.

Dh enjoyed Tenzing.

I hadn’t realised Tenzing was on Apple already (we were thinking about watching it at our local cinema).
