Cindy is awful the way she talks about Lauren.

Poor old Peet-ah, having to do more emoting today. I didn’t blame him for chucking her out, Lauren is an absolute binfire. @Alucard55 Cindy is actually right about Lauren isn’t she? Obviously Cindy’s a hypocrite, so is Max etc etc. All as bad as each other.

I did love the argument between Max and Cindy, with Peter and his pineapples and Max immediately saying the one bed he hadn’t slept in was Jean’s.

It's a good thing baby Jimmy is so independent isn't it. Despite only being a year old and blind he's probably doing his own laundry by now.

I’m glad Joel got more to do today. I didn't think the hammer was the weapon because Joel would have been much more seriously injured. And it was far too shiny!

I loved Max and Cindy's argument too! I actually laughed out loud when he retorted Jean about the bed thing 🤣 It was like a rapid fire round the way they were bouncing off each other. I do think they are well suited and have each met their match in the other 👌

Not sure what Cindy and Max see in each other and every time someone does something wrong they can’t anything as they have done it too.

Having seen today’s episode, I think Craig will end up blackmailing Amy into sleeping with him (she may be the attacker or knows who was).

Max and Cindy work so well together. I know it can't last but I love it. I hope it is Cindy he's marrying on NYD.

South, Craig is quite creepy so I am not surprised. And Jack has already pressurised him into withholding evidence.

They have loaded too much onto Jack&Jack, first Dee, now the teens, and doubtless trouble with Penny and the baby. No wonder he's drinking too much by NYD!

Just a hunch that trouble is also brewing with him and Craig and we know Craig will get involved in a case that involves the Brannings. Hopefully Scott Maslen has a holiday planned!

I Hope Craig stays away from Amy.

Yes. I am getting creepy vibes from Craig too. Maybe Jack is right to be wary of him?

Craig is definitely up to something. He has been on the square 5 minutes and is in everyone's business.
I also wouldn't be surprised if Vicky was Joel's attacker. She acted strangely at the hospital, which I originally thought was because she was in a similar position not too long ago, but then she completly u turned and is actively fighting Joel's corner etc, just something so strange about her behaviour.

Totally agree about both Craig and Vicky. Vicky seems to be constantly keeping the focus on what Joel did to Avani rather than what he did to her (which was just as bad tbh).

Yes it was just as bad, both abhorrent, however different they were.
Will Jean blackmail Max to get her rent money?

Is anyone else irritated by Gray the serial killer's speech? It's all soundbites, a few words at a time, said with venom, in a monotone murmur.

And speaking of murderers, I am in despair about a certain Butcher female coming back into the cast, even temporarily. Her & Mick Carter, as if ! I believe Danny Dyer wasn't keen on the storyline either, before he left. He was ok about being written out, but not to be paired up with that !
Does anyone remember the other Butcher sister, Diane? What happened to her, in the storyline ?

I agree Vicki has behaved strangely about Joel, but I'm not sure if it's just bad writing. She was in the Vic so I don't think she had the chance, and she wouldn't know the lock code to release him. I think he knows who did it, and if so he wouldn't be keen to live with her. Then again I am not expecting it to make sense!

I don't think many of us are excited about Janine's return, @Bluesandwhites ! Gray's return has been terrible and I don't doubt hers will be too. It's all 'returns for the sake of it'. Edit - I agree I hated Janine with Mick.

I think Diane went to live in France? Very sensible, get away from Walford asap!

Yes Diane went to France. Ricky is in Germany where he must own the equivalent of a German Tardis home in order to house Liam, Cindy jr, her baby, Scarlett, Janine’s other baby, Tiffany and Keegan.

Agree with PP’s that the Panesar housing situation makes no sense. Why would a supposedly savvy businesswoman like Suki pay rent whilst renting out a huge house she owns? And she is talking about needing money but I thought they had other buy to lets (which are now never mentioned), the GP centre along with the call centre business that burned down.

I hope they don’t go down a horrible grooming route with Craig and Amy. She is barely 16/17🤢 I’m finding the constant rota of storylines about abused women on EE really depressing,

Janine is brilliant. She was always good at worming her way into men's lives, so not really surprising that she managed to with Mick, especially after all of the stuff with Linda's drinking and Max! He was vulnerable - perfect for Janine. Plus he had the Vic, her dad's pub. (In her eyes).

I can't wait to see her. Charlie Brooks is fantastic.

I think Janine is one of the better baddies they have had , she plays a good part well.
I hope her brief return isn’t too terrible, but the actors can only work with what they have in the scripts

Maybe Vicki isn’t concentrating on what joel did to her because she feels gulity about her fling with Zac and this is her way of supporting Ross and trying to get back into his good books by not bringing it up?
It feels weird that she hasn’t said much since he was hit. I think it’s all guilt and she wants to try and move on , but that can’t be easy.

I couldn’t agree more with that last part… it seems the writers have a weird focus on storylines manipulating, using and abusing women and then humiliating them completely after with no real consequences.

Don't like what they've done with Amy today. I know the actress is older than the character but I felt that with Craig was really uncomfortable.

I found the Amy and Craig scene very uncomfortable. She must be about 15 and was wearing something that looked like a negligee and thrusting her chest out. I think Craig dealt with it quite well telling her not to waste police time

They have made Amy a bit too done up with a push up bra on and a reveling top when normally she isn’t like that at all. I hope it’s not a grooming storyline ;(
