Chelsea thing could be as simple as her taking Nicola for unfair dismissal… she’s been really shitty with her while she’s needed time off

Chelsea did ask for a shift once and was told no ( can’t remember who said it to her)

Wasn't Gina working in Harry's Barn? I think I saw her serving behind the bar there before 🤔

I thought that Gina was working in the restaurant ( we never see ) , but she may have two jobs and she was in the Barn too.

What IS the point of George's restaurant? The set is barely used, we've seen it about three times, and it is already losing money at a rate of knots. It seems to exist just to give George something to do (although he's never there).

That is a good word for it - folly. And I don't believe Nic would support a failing business, she'd tell him to get out.

I think they really struggled with what to do with George after the Vic. Same with Elaine and Linda. But at least the b&b set is used, and makes some kind of sense.

He gave all the money from Eddie to charity didn’t he. He shd have given a small amount and the rest back to Nicola.

The b and b is a good business model actually. Especially with all the waifs and strays that show up!

The kidnap story is the most ridiculous thing in EE that I’ve heard of. But then it is EE and they want drama.

Sheila is an ex lawyer too. I mean, I understood Karen doing it for Keanu and Albie was safe ( sort of !) but not Sheila.

Yes, I said as much last week - it's too much of a stretch. I would find it credible if we'd seen their relationship play out for a little longer and that Sheila was vulnerable and he was coercing her but now we've reached cartoon level. I hope the story reaches the end next week.

South, it is ridiculous isn’t it. Sheila being manipulated by gray and Ian is too. He murdered three people , hardly dad of the year is he! Why help him?

I wouldn't be surprised if the police woman is undercover, it seems obvious that she is. Mark is stupid, he should have steered clear

80s yes the b&b came in handy for Max. And the dreaded Bea.

I agree about the policewoman (Rita), I think she is probably investigating the dodgy cars. Not actually undercover because everyone knows she's a cop, just doing her job while also shagging very dim Mark.

I thought they played Sheila's character quite well in that she was manipulative but not actually evil and she resisted doing Gray's bidding, but now they are having her kidnap Jordan. So as you say South, it's gone all cartoon.

The car lot looks dodgy even without the hooky cars in it.

I think the stories will tread water a bit whilst the cast are on holiday and ramp up when penny gives birth and Kim gets married , then a few months of the big count down to Christmas and the mystery wedding and Max in the frame.

Thanks for the warning that a kidnap is coming, so I can prepare myself as that is such rubbish. I had thought that Sheila was sort of believable, because I think she had been out of touch with Gray for a long time which seemed realistic and sensible. Now this will be complete rubbish and I suspect it's all Ian's fault for fuelling Gray's anger with Chelsea (and likewise Kathy's fault for not telling Ian about Chelsea's new statement). What a totally stupid storyline.

Big klaxon today. Priya and Zac will be seen out together and Ravi will think he is her new squeeze. I did eye roll at policeman Craig to Ross ‘your a good dad ‘. Jury is out on that one.
Poor Jean. Three months rent is a lot. At least money is being mentioned a lot more.

I'm so confused with what is going on with the house at no. 41 🧐 Is that the Slater home? If so, weren't they renting it off Suki? If so, doesn't that mean Suki owns it? If so, why was Suki talking about buying it off Masood? Or was she talking about the house her and Eve currently live in (which they rent from Masood)?

Which leads me to the final question, why would they rent a place on the Square if they already own another one there?!?

31 is Jeans home that Suki owns, 41 is where she lives but rents i think

Suki may be better off evicting Mo and Jean and Zac and moving in it herself. She rents the house she’s in I think. She has a few businesses , but still not sure what they live on now they have Mia and Eve only on the stall
