Mark will be following his uncle in getting entagled with a police officer. Phil was either married or lived with one, can't remember her name, the woman who was in Byker Grove and she also had an affair with Den? There was a wonderful scene where Chrissie destroyed her hair with a horror cut in the salon and the copper couldn't tell as Chrissie had smashed the mirror in the salon. Loved those days.

Was it Jill halfpenny as the police woman ? She was in it once I recall.

Just Googled it, she was Kate Mitchell, an
undercover police officer.

Kate Mitchell, so Phil actually married her! I wasn't sure. He's had more wives than Henry 8th.

She was a Mitchell then. That’s odd !
I don’t remember much about the storylines , but Phil was involved I think ?
Rita isn’t undercover , if she is, she is bad at doing that job isn’t she ! Lol

Oh, he married her ! Blimey. Phil’s Wives ; , the lady who wanted a visa , Kate ( although I don’t remember her that much ) Sharon , Shirley , nearly married Stella. Did he marry Shirley ?
Kat , briefly. Must be loads more !

Ian’s had many wives as well.
I only know people who have had two marriages tops.

My nana had 3 marriages and my uncle by marriage had 5 marriages.

You’ve forgotten Kathy! In fairness it’s very odd to think they were married when you look at them now.

Oh yes. Kathy and Phil had Ben.

Did he marry Lisa?

Lisa tried to kill Phil once. His not had a lot of luck with his many wives really. Most of which has been self inflicted at times.

Can't believe the way Vicki is accepting Joel back. Total disregard for what he done to Avani.

I don’t think so. I only remember her marrying Mark.

How come Vicki is so suspicious of Avani 'forgiving' Joel, when she herself has forgiven him and is letting him live with her! (oh yes plot reasons)

I thought last night's episode was terrible. I like Lauren but she cannot do 'sexy chemistry'. And now Peet-ah is having to 'act suspicious' which is stretching him!

I wish they would just get on with 'who hit Joel'. I don't care. It is a shame they brought him back but he is actually doing very little, all the other teens are getting the story. I'd like to see him with more than two lines per episode.

It’s bound to ramp up a bit with Joel now Barney has told Zac and Harry and so on. The weed was odd, I thought it was Will who liked that and not Nugget , why did he bury it ?

Sheila is mad to get involved with kidnap. She’ll end up in jail with Ian and Gray at this rate. Another one to add to the long list ! ( no wonder the jails are overcrowded)

The kidnap story must be what they refer to at new years why everyone has forgiven Max for whatever

but then Lauren and Oscar get kidnapped too.

the new colleague of jacks must be the start of the police investigating Max over dodgy cars, does she work out mark jr is involved and offers him a deal to drop Max in it maybe? Mark looks very un-concerned on New Year’s Day! Ooh maybe Mark has been undercover all this time? (Massive stretch but it’s EE)

I like the idea of Mark being undercover. He turned up injured and beaten up a few times already, so might be ?
He clearly loves Lauren doesn’t he! Really smitten.
The children mentioned NYD are Ethan and Jimmy.

NYD. Mark just hangs around, only said a few words I think and didn’t look particularly worried about anything.
Nicolas beef with Chelsea is intriguing me more. I am not sure what she’s done there as those two are never in a scene together atm

This sounds like absolute rubbish. I might stop watching for a while. The whole Gray return was a terrible idea, and the current plots with the teens and Lauren/Mark are super annoying.

Mark is lurking around looking smug on NYD. I assumed that was connected with Lauren. His far too stupid to be an undercover cop!

The way this is being written at the moment, we most likely won’t know the reason.

It’s a mystery why Mark came back though. He turned up at Phil’s in a right state and seems to get hold of dodgy cars easily enough. Doesn’t seem to have any other kind of work , so money is a mystery, even his cut from the cars must be hit and miss and he has to pay the contacts that get them for him as well as Lauren’s cut. Seems to live rent free with Phil.
